Okay...we can fix this.
1. Is the air hole right in front of the coil?
2. Are you sure juice is making it into the Cyclone? You may have to fiddle with the tube as it sometimes gets stuck.
3. 2.2 ohms may be too high. Trying building a coil in the 1.5 ohm range.
4. What guage wire are...
eHuman has a blog that I found exceptionally helpful when I started with RBAs. He focuses more on the AGA-T but the RSST is so similar it doesn't make much of a difference (especially since the RSST is easier to coil than the AGA-T).
Here's a link: E-Cigarette Forum - eHuman - Blogs
If you're looking for a tank RBA the RSST is a very user-friendly gadget. If you're looking at dripping the IGO-L is the best to learn on in my opinion.
A good ohm meter is a must but if you have a VV device that measures resistance that will suffice. If you're going the dripping route I...
I have to echo luceblueboy's thoughts. NEMP is unlike any vape I've ever had and the only one to ever come close to smoking a cigar. Simply sublime...I can't describe it (or stop vaping it...shoulda got 6ml instead of 12).
Hi, Sectopod (what an awesome moniker).
For me...I like to get the coil as close to the air hole as possible and then adjust the height up or down to adjust TH and flavor (I like it right in front of the hole).
As for the cotton wick...I make a nice long wick that sticks out both ends and then...
A good set of needle nose pliers and some snips (some folks use finger-nail clippers). A small drill bit to wrap the coil around and hold it in place (even if you plan on pulling silica through later...just makes it easier...but I recommend a sterile cotton wick personally).
Slower is supposed to be better....half amp I believe...normal is 1 amp...usually half amp is for 18350s. When a battery has been discharched too low sometimes it needs a jump start to get charging again...that's where the 1 amp comes in handy.
Trickle charge is something the nicer chargers...
What dibby said. I measured 3mm myself when I did mine (none of this .1 - .2 stuff...I just eyeballed it...and got lucky). Just about flush with the top of the 510 connector. My Cyclone sits flat on the deck (amazed that I got it level) with a small o-ring underneath. Absolutely no leakage...
Rob does the work. The base unit (the Triangle) is a piece of junk unmodified (at least the one I bought was). It was designed for "other" uses...not even sure why Empire carries them.
But yes, both the RM2 and the Cyclone are two of the best. If you go with the cyclone...get the AFC...
Micro-coils greatly diminish the odds of getting a hot leg and with thicker wire they are even less susceptible. I have had them but it is rare.
