    I didn't really have to do anything prep wise for the seams. I guess there's just enough gap for it not to seal itself. I thought I was going to get chipping or peeling for sure, but it just worked itself out.

    I would recommend letting the boba's breathe for a couple weeks at least. I don't like it that much when it's fresh from the mail. Give it a taste test after each week, and remember to give it a shake everyday. You can also use a hot water bath to age it a bit quicker.
