Mine has the same. I think it's an air hole to help wicking, but I'm not 100% sure to be quite honest. Hell it could be for a double u-wick for all I know.
Now if I could just make this thing not suck for me...
I'm saving up towards my next purchase and was looking at the Kayfun 3.1, Kayfun Lite, Russian, or the Russian 91%.
I've been able to find the Kayfuns through German sites and the preorder for the 91%, but I can't seem to find an original Russian anywhere. I read that they were on VaporTek but...

A family friend retiring from PECO gave me a Fluke 87 that he's had for at least 10 years (probably more like 20) after he heard I was getting frustrated with my ....ty multimeter from Harbor Freight.
The only problem I'm having with it, probably due to the environment it was being...
I've always found ramen, specifically this brand my grandmother always got at the Korean market, was the end-all be-all of hangover cures. It's saved me too many times to count over the past few years of impromptu mid-week nights of drinking the past few years of college.
Unrelated, but I just...
Jealous of both your collection and your case.
I'll just cry myself to sleep with a 60 Minute then.
I love 120 Minute so much, only ever find/get it every so often though. The one bar by me that has it on tap every so often has a limit of 2 or 3 per person. I have a feeling they learned...
kadskljfasdjf my Korean pride overfloweth
Hopefully I'll be able to save up a few hundred soon and pick up my first 'high end' mech. If not this Yi-Sun-Sin inspired beauty, then hopefully a Chi_You :)
Come to Phoenixville and check out Liberty Vapors on Sunday, August 25th.
The East Coast Vapors Club will be having a meetup at 322 Bridge Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 from 3:00 to 7:00.
There will be giveaways, snacks, a ton of awesome people enough vapor coming out the front door to get...
Just got my first genesis atty all set up with twisted 28 gauge kanthal, so to celebrate I'm dripping some Melon Mania from Liberty Vapors.
If anyone around the Philadelphia area, especially if you're close to Phoenixville, hasn't checked them out yet, definitely go stop by. Awesome people there.
The GSub 2.0 was my first PV. While it performed well as far as VV's go, it did not last me more than two weeks. Now this is partially my fault, but also due to an inherent design flaw. The 510 connection is surrounded by plastic with the wiring being soldered to it from the VV circuitry...
More and more I want to color treat the SS parts of my Igo-W and #13a.
Purple or light blue with the brass accents would look great, I just think I'd need to do it in an oven to get a uniform color throughout.
Last night I got a little bored and decided to mod my Sigelei #13a for a lower voltage drop and improved button performance.
Following Rader's Sigelei #8 Performance Guide and modding my button as he posted here, I lowered my voltage drop to around 0.15V on load and have made my button work...
Maybe I'm just too tired to think, but what's the point of being able to work with a 0.5 ohm resistance if the output is capped at 15 watts and the voltage is cut off at 6A?
Doesn't that mean the maximum voltage at 0.5 ohms is a little over 2.8 volts?
Just read your post and decided to try removing the spring on my 13a. Ever so slightly shortened the mod in 18650 mode and I think it may have solved my sporadic hot button issue!
Edit: I'm looking through the posts from page 1 now, but does anyone happen to know a good way to solve misfires...
I've been doing that for the last week or so but wanted to at least give sub-ohm a shot. I'm not sure why though, but these 4/5 wrap coils lit up instantly when I was checking for hot spots and they were bright as a light bulb. Maybe it was because I was testing them at night, but it caught me...
Thanks malkuth, xobe, and Tim.
I should have realized I used too much cotton gauze when I was rolling it. I rewicked it with a sterile cotton ball as suggested and it's already hitting much better.
I think I may have been using too much cotton for the rest of my builds looking back, thanks...
Dual coiled 28 gauge @ 0.6 ohms.
Question for you guys though: With a fully charged battery, it seems to produce crazy vapor but the taste is very muted. Maybe it's the low number of wraps on each coil (5/4). I would like to continue this experiment with sub-ohm vaping, but would I benefit...
I've got a brass engraved one from GM. Sure $20 is steep, but I really like how it accents my mod and goes well with the alternating brass and stainless steel of my Sigelei.
Sorry to just be echoing what others are saying, but DEFINITELY drill a larger air hole in.
Start small and progress to where you really like it. I personally like mine at 7/64", it's not too airy (for me) and the vapor is nice and cool.
