Everything I have is at a minimum 1.6mm, it is the happy spot for me. I can do direct lung hits or normal pulls no problem with that size. I have a couple that are 2mm airholes too, and then gigantic 1/8ish hole on this one
I plugged the hole bc I was tired of having excess juice come out of the airhole, when I dripped some juice in it. Plus with the new drilled hole I can aim the airhole at my coil by simply turning the top cap.
I can confirm with absolute truth that the XS116 that kidney puncher sells cannot I repeat CANNOT keep up with a micro coil at all. Which doesnt make sense to me bc you can torch it and it only turns slightly off white, but when in a micro coil it turned black and when I tried to pull it out...
Most people on here are plugging the air hole through the bottom and then drilling the top cap. I used a toothpick to plug the stock air hole and then drilled in between the top 2 grooves a new air hole and it became a champ
Yup same crap with Kyosho buggy, after waiting weeks to find the parts I needed to fix it, playing with a set of bald street stickies on it, I ended up ballooning a tire in a turn and when it finally caught traction it went straight at mailbox, same parts I had trouble finding and then some...
On your octopus you have your wraps far too loose, that is why you are getting straight throat hit and no vapor. 1 ohm is probably about right that means each coil is probably around 2 ohms alone, also make sure they are exactly the same length and same number of coils
That is why I have always stopped myself from doing a Heli or Plane, atleast if it's on the ground and something goes wrong there is a chance it will survive, not so much when a big drop can be involved
I think that is the standard for RC Onroad and off, you build it up, test and break, upgrade this and that just to break the next. It's a money thieving process
If your burning the wick, then you are probably choking it and that is why it is doing that, but at the same time if you are too loose then you could burn it bc the coils would get super hot with no wick and juice on them.
Also what are you using for your wick?
I know about LiPo batteries from my other hobby and they are truly impressive, and most have extremely high capacities and discharge rates, the only problem with those is to truly charge and maintain them usually requires a more expensive charger/ discharger
Federal Mogul, is just reselling NEXTEL and so is the last one Foundry Service. The stuff from China I wouldn't want to try or even try to figure out what it's chemical make up is.
I am starting to think it may be time to grab up some delrin or PTFE drip tips, seeing as now that I have 26-28 gauge kanthal my micros are making my DTs get fairly warm when chain vaping and also might be dropping my nic down too. The woes of efficiency
