    18490/18500 is all I run ( 4 old and 4 new aw/efest purple) and the problem has been consistent. So In my case, I would say the extra extension ring has no difference on the mater. 1.5 ohm running at 3.4v on my kayfuns.

    Both my p3's are going back for the 2nd time for this issue. It reads empty few times a day while the battery is over 60-70% full. Yes, cleaned threads, springs, new batteries, prayed and even sacrificed an animal in hopes of better out come.. : ( Back to the dragon till I get them back.

    Like others have mentioned the top cap that is attached to the board will have to be removed. 2 screws and it pushes right out. I was going to use a piece of window tint. Then I got lazy.. Sharpie the bottom end of the button and shut the light off. lol.
