no dont do that.. lol.. KFL is same as russian.. Russian has adjustible 510 that is wonky but it does work. I have both or all variations. snap a pic as mentioned of your build.. we can trouble shoot fast, but 100% certain you are not properly stuffing the cotton.- yellowrider

Considering a Provari Mini, a few questions before I place my order...
Sounds like you need the russian to make contact with the adjustible posts. Also you can put in adjustible posts from clone variations to make your eh pro v2 to have adjustable posts.- yellowrider

loki rings look and fit the best IMO. Also, you can run twins for full 18650 mode or 18490. Some of the KFL/Russian/Clones might need the positive post sanded down for flush fit as most of the provaris have a variation in the chip on depth of the + post.- yellowrider

Im content at 5, but that damn gun metal is calling my name for some reason... I have to see how tough the finsh is on the gold first before I pull the trigger on gunmetal. Sanding method
Looks good but I would do more sanding to remove scuffs. Dissemble and try it with 3m 320 grit super fine paper. Use 1/4in foam pad behind the sand paper so you dont get uneven sanding and also do not apply too much pressure. You can just hand turn holding the sandpaper/foam in your hand. Then...- yellowrider
