My father smoked a pipe for as long as I could remember. I introduced him to vaping and he usually uses Domestic from Johnson Creek. Sometimes he switches it up but for the most part that's all he uses and he's really happy with it. It's 100% VG but not as thick as other total VG juices. Of...
Another shout for Johnson Creek's Vanda. It's another staple that I have to have in my vape arsenal. I like it straight or mixed with their Red Oak Tn. Cured for a tobacco/caramel/vanilla taste. Good stuff. :toast:
Started vaping with a Blu standard kit on Oct. 27th last year. Fiddling with that got me down to 2 analogs a day. Then bought my Vea kit during the Cyber Monday sale last November and have been tobacco free since then. Someday I might use something different but for now I'm happy with the Vea.
Welcome to ECF Nicole, and Conga-Ratz on being tobacco free!
I wouldn't know about your vinegar cleaning question but I'm sure someone will be along to help you. Good luck and keep vaping.:toast:
I just put my Blu gear in the drawer as a back up if I ever need it. If my cartos are too old I can always go to the nearest Walgreens and pick up an overpriced pack of 5 if I'm in a pinch until I receive better gear.
The three vendors I'm using are EC Blend, Halo and Johnson Creek, with JC being my favorite.
I like the create-your-own feature with EC Blend and their prices are good. I've found a couple flavors from Halo that I like a lot, Malibu and Tiki Juice. I've tried everything from Johnson Creek's Red...
Conga-Ratz on being tobacco free bapeman, and welcome to ECF!
After you have 15 posts under your belt you'll be able to paste your banner URL under the 'settings' tab at the top of the page. You'll also have to wait for the site to update before you see it. It usually updates once every...
You'll also have to wait for the site to update after you've got 15 posts under your belt. Usually happens once every hour. So don't worry if you paste your URL in the box and it doesn't show up right away, it will eventually. Glad you found something that works for ya and welcome to ECF!:toast:
Thank-you for sharing your story BurningRose, and welcome to ECF!:toast:
It's funny that you mention how we used to smell. Just the other night I was apologizing to my non-smoking band mates for the way I used to smell. There have been times where we've had to play in some pretty close quarters...
Usually I keep one cartomizer for one flavor. If you use one type of juice and then fill with another type there will be 'flavor creep'. You'll want to get more blanks, or since you have ego batteries you could try using clearomizers or cartotanks in the future.
Conga-ratz on four days tobacco...
That's great! I introduced vaping to my father who smoked a pipe for as long as I can remember. He's tobacco free now.:)
Congratulations and welcome to ECF! :toast:
Just a quick tip, you can order blank 510 standard resistance cartos, like Boge's or Smoketechs and fill them with your own juice to use with the Blu batteries. Much cheaper than buying prefilled in the long run. :)
Like a lot of people here Blu was my 'gateway' vape. It's what got me started on my journey. But now I advise anyone new to vaping to stay away from them because honestly, their hardware is overpriced/unreliable junk. Not to mention their marketing gobbledy-guk that they have on their web site...
Sorry to hear about your problem. I started vaping with Blu but only stuck with them for a few weeks because honestly, their hardware is junk. The only good thing they have going for them imo is that Johnson Creek makes the juice they fill their cartos with.
If you're dead set on a cigarette...
Glad I could help! I too have a reaction to PG. If I use too much my throat gets soar something fierce. I get juice from EC Blend and they make your liquid to order and you can set your PG/VG ratios. If I use anything over 40% PG I'll get a really bad soar throat.
Currently for JC I'm using Red...
Yup, I'm using the Vea as well and it's been doing the trick for me for over 2 months now. As far as JC flavors go I've only had one that I thought was awful and that was Swiss Dark. Supposed to be a chocolate but to me it tasted like burnt popcorn wrapped in land-fill. Other than that I've had...
I'm so thankful for the moderators here on this board. I've been to other boards for different hobbies/professions and they're all "messy" compared to these boards. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back. They keep the discussions on point and civil, and are diligent in keeping out the spam...
