From my understanding SkyCig is the same as Blu, just rebranded for the UK. The batteries have 510 threading and any standard resistance 510 cartomizer will work fine on those. I used to use Boge's on my Blu batteries before I switched to something else. Hope this helps. :toast:
I'm a huge Johnson Creek fan. There are some other vendors that I've used in the past but for the most part JC is my main supplier. I've tried everything from their Red Oak line and I enjoy most of it. The only flavors I didn't care for were the Swiss Dark and Solstice. Everything else has been...
Even though the Vea instructions say to put @ 70 drops in on the initial fill I've found that to be too much. When I fill mine I'll put 10 drops in at the start-2 drops in the same spot. Then do a thermometer type shake holding the mouth end and shaking down toward the battery connection post...
Thanks for the link to the adapter's Ocelot. :toast: I've been wanting to try some type of clearomizers like CE4's and what not but thought I wouldn't be able to use them with my Vea batteries.
I'll be using these for a while longer, at least until they die. I'm just frugal, (cheap), that way...
You got it. Clearomizers like these with the skirt at the bottom won't fit. Smoktek Ego batteries have 'outer' threading where the Vea batteries have the little silicone strip with no threading. Vivi's or even carto-tanks like our good friend PBusardo reviews here would work just fine as long as...
The flavor was a big part of why I quit. The day I got my Vea I had nearly a full pack left out of the last carton that I'd bought. Had 1/2 of one in the morning before going to the post office to get my kit. I was very happy with my experience but that evening I got a really strong craving...
Certainly not the cheapest but my favorite tobacco's come from Johnson Creek. I like all three of their 100% VG tobacco juices with Red Oak Tennessee Cured being my top pick.
You can do it Bunnie, and it's much easier to quit with vaping. I was a smoker for 25 years and quit fairly easily. The first couple days without tobacco were a little difficult, but not as bad as when I had tried all the other ways. As long as I had my vape I didn't feel like I was gonna chew...
Welcome Bunnie to the ECF! Lots of great folks and great information here.
I started with the Blu basic kit. That got me down to 2-3 tobacco sticks a day but it just wasn't enough. Not to mention the batteries were just too small for my needs and I was constantly charging them up. They're...
Great advice here.
One thing that a lot of beginners, (myself included), do is get wrapped up in equipment, but the main and most enjoyable part imo in the vaping experience is the juice. Don't be hesitant to try non-tobacco type flavors. I know vaping a minty watermelon or a creamy cheese cake...
Don't feel bad DSFA. I was pretty sloppy when I first started filling my own cartomizers. You'll get the hang of it. If not, then there are always these. ;)
Like gsolo said, you will never find a consensus on what is the best vendor/juices. Everyone has their favorites and taste is VERY subjective. Someone will recommend a flavor that they think is absolutely stunning but to me it'll taste like burnt pop-corn wrapped in land fill.
But for some...
I've been vaping for about 5 months now and I've tried a lot of different juices. I'm not really 'afraid' to try something new, but I always come back to the tobacco flavors or variations there of. I REALLY like Johnson Creek's 100% VG line of flavors and most of them have an underlying tobacco...
I've had my Vea since last November and it does the trick for me. My father was impressed with it so much that he got himself one too. It's doesn't have any bells and whistles but for me it's just fine.
If JC is ever out of cartos and you need more you can use any low resistance 1.7-2.2 ohm 510...
JC juice is usually good right when I get it and I just open up and fill my cartos the same day. Steeping does enhance the flavor some but for me not by much. YMMV.
