Wicking Tiki Juice
Variable voltage helps me enjoy different flavors from Halo. Torque wicks well, and enjoys higher voltages (4.3+ on 2.8 - 3.2 ohm heads). Same with other clearer juices. Darker juices like lower volts / watts, from my experience. -

Halo tobacco flavor for new user recommendation?
Tribeca - can't taste tobacco in there. It's like an RY4 that has some sort of graham cracker flavor. I enjoy it. Turkish - a very good tobacco. Torque - my ADV. -

To steep or not to steep?
I dunno. My guess...silica can withstand the occasional dry hit. If I accidently up the voltage too high, or get a dry hit, I have to swap out the cotton. Most people don't feel like re-wicking. Silica holds up longer. -

Lets make a list of juice flavors that work ok with clearo's
Halo's juices are pretty easy-going on my clearos. Torque 56...hell...I can run 15ml+ through my Vision V3 clearo w/ cotton wicks, and still tastes great. Though their Longhorn gunks up quick. From MadVapes -- Menthol Tobacco, Mad 4, Mad Tobacco, Sweet Carolina, and French Vanilla are all gentle.- Yinzer

Generally, a Vision V3 clearo with cotton wicks. 2.8 - 3.2 ohm head, around 4.0 to 4.2 volts. -

Least Sweet tobacco flavor?
Given what you said you're looking for, try Bella Valente (really strong tobacco / cigar flavor) or Longhorn. Longhorn is a touch sweeter, and not as strong, with some sort of very very subtle chocolate / cherry finish. Bella is awesome, after steeping, but I can't vape it around anyone. The... -

I actually added VG to bella valente to sweeten it up a little. But out of the bottle, it's also pretty sweet. In all honesty, Torque or Freedom seem to have the least sweetness. Tribeca can hurt your teeth with its sweetness...but it's awesome :) -

Tribeca - good for me out of the bottle. Longhorn - good, improved with a few days steeping. Bella - completely changed over the course of a month. Turkish - two weeks for full flavor. Freedom - week steeping to mellow out perfume taste. HX3 - good after a week. Torque - steeping... -

Leaking stardusts ?
Just seems part of using these style clearos, which I've been using exclusively for almost a year. Changes in temp make for some pooling. Overfilling does, too. The juice gets into the center post area and slowly comes out. I rotate a number of clearos / flavors in a day. When not using a...- Yinzer

SmokTech Redux problems
My ohms on replacement heads vary, regardless of what's printed on the side. Also, I never had luck with the silica wicks. Cotton all the way....- Yinzer
