Of the 4 RBAs I've bought since getting into them about 3 weeks ago, all of them perform exceedingly well.
1) Smok Octopus
2) AGA T 2
3) Igo L
4) Terminator C
I really don't know which one I like best as they're all good devices. The Terminator is the biggest pita to setup, what with the NR...
I know not everybody is big into RBAs, hence the nich for DNAs, but with my headlong plunge into rebuildables, and no looking back, all the DNA20 I'll ever need is in my coil wraps.
Big thanks to dwcraig1 for helping me with a couple PMs to get past a few hurdles with leaking on the Terminator C, and pointing me to a hard to find post buried on page 119 about how to setup the negative lead. IT'S WORKING! :) Rockin' some CopperCreek Peach on a 2 wrap coil 32g K .9ohms @...
I'm having tremendous success with this fat sob on the Octo. Rolled completely unoxidized. Straw type, diagonal cut. Flame the bend and that thing is locked into position. Then a light oxidation, about three times, no quench or juice burn.
I tried a 1cm shorty, then a thin, solid U which was...
Thanks, dw for the info, and for the crimp bead heads up. Indeed it does take some practice with the NR wire. Had a fairly rough go of it a little while ago. It started badly when I tried to flame the NR like I do the R. There I was melting silver like an idiot :) Then, just like you said, it...
The RSST is a Smoktech Genny device. It features an insulated wick hole which is supposed to be hot-spot friendly with ss mesh. Makes it easier to attempt unoxidized wick setups with the pulsing method. It's got a plastic tank where the bottom and walls are one piece... also to help with...
Drip tip question: since I can't look at the dt section right now with the site locked, I'm wondering if that super sleek dt in the photo of the Shockwave (I think that was the model) is a Super T offering? Thanks.
It's funny. Just about every day, at some point, I'll stop what I'm doing, .... my head to the side, and think either - "Today's just a grand ol' vaping day"; or conversely - "Today's been a rotten, suck-... vaping day. Why oh why is everything going wrong?"
It's amazing how when things go...

If I get the 30g NR wire Stormy's offers for the Terminator C, do I need to use 30g Kanthal to match it? Or is any guage - particularly 28g which I'm partial to - viable?
Fast shipping... I like the sound of that. Just placed my first order with them yesterday. Besides some Kanthal and a few accessories, I've got my first IGO L coming. Can't wait!
I'm just sorry the OP can't experience the kind of blissful, full flavored vape I'm experiencing right now on my genny with a seasoned wick just re-coiled a moment ago. It saddens me that some folks have difficulty culling the performance out of these things. I wish every vaper could experience...
I bought some #6 lock washers from Lowes the other day but they seem too big... not enought material between the inside of the hole to the edge of the washer. But today, I noticed there was a brass screw/washer section down the isle, and they had brass washers #4s. I haven't put them on yet, but...
I do the same exact thing as donnah and it works well. Though with tap water, I thought I detected a slightly off flavor in my Bounty Hunter. It was really good, just not quite 100%. But in 20 minutes, it was back up to speed. I thought the next time I'd use distilled water, as I wonder if the...
