    I find a well formed u-wick to be a very beautiful thing. But to be honest, I have one going right now on my AGA T2, and I really don't find that it adds a whole lot to the performance. But on a dripper, it's a fine vape.

    Also, after you roll the wick and then form the bend, torch the bend and it will lock into shape.

    I think I tried that once, and found that the wick is not uniform... the wraps spiral inwards from the ends, which end up being thinner than the middle. There'd be alot of edges and frays to deal with which might give you hot spot nightmares. But I guess there's no reason you couldn't try it...

    If you look at your mesh, you'll notice it has grains. Cut your preferred size of mesh so it has those grains going diagonally across the mesh, then roll it like you normally would (square).

    Thanks for the detailed explaination, upsetter. I've developed a love affair with noalox ever since using it on my Provari, which was acting wonky, and fixed the problem completely. But you've given what I needed to know. Just a knife and some sandpaper twice a week. Sounds good to me.

    Hey guys, how should I clean and maintain the contact points, and how often do you suggest? I'm guessing isopropyl alchohol to clean, but I'm not sure. Is a thin film of noalox on the bottom of the pp post and the switch contact point a good idea to aid in conductivity? Thanks.

    This worked really well for me, but I've long since removed it to screw around with other setups. I made it real fat in an effort to soak up the juice before going down the deck hole and it worked. It's pretty easy if you cut the mesh on the diagonal to the grains.
