    yes it is.. I push it into the channel then cut it right at 1st thread so it doesn't get caught up in threads when I put chimney on. When I 1st got it the wick was silica but it was pulled apart after the coils and stuffed in channels don't know if that was to fill them more or what not but I...

    I have a bunch of 2mm silica wick that I use to rebuilt ce4's with so I have only used that. I cut 2in pieces soak them so I can spin them through coils tuck them in the slots and use straight edge to trim them right at first thread.

    mine only leaks out air holes if I leave it laying around for a while, but that's just from wicks dripping. Have you tried top filling with everything close then crack air open with tip still off.. that works for me

    well I stripped it down took orings and post's out. Gave it a soak and scub with acetone. Then made a new coils running .9 ohms now. Metal taste not as bad but this thing lacks flavor

    well I checked coils they are working great heating middle out nice and even no hot spots.. don't have meter here at work so cant test but they aren't hot to the touch and unit isn't getting warm, may have to take it apart and try some acetone.

    yes my coils are straight across I didn't move them down. They are at .8 ohms and work great with tons of vapor but all I can taste is the ss..

    ok am I the only person who taste the SS when vaping this thing. I soaked it in soapy water, scrubbed it with soap n water with toothbrush then use vodka to soak rinse. But I cant take the metal taste, vapes like a freight train but the flavor sucks.

    well I don't have a ismoka but after a quick google I see that the threads on the bottom don't change with the coil..im guessing the threads are stripped on either the battery or tank..quick fix would be some Teflon tape on tank threads..then buy a ce4 or some tank that uses the outside ego...

    ok I believe the ismoka is a changeable coil unit...did you try a different coil maybe that one got stripped
