PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

Thanks so much everyone. I really appreciate the support and suggestions and the "ears" I hit a real low last night and was almost ready to just quit vaping and start smoking again. Just as one section of my tongue had cleared up suddenly the sides of my tongue starting hurting to the point...

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

JW50, I'm thinking about maybe trying the nicorette gum. I would like to find an alternative yes, but cold turkey at this stage I think would be setting myself up for failure. I never intended to quit smoking when I started vaping. Thought I could substitute some cigarettes but as it turned...

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

Thanks, yep that's ok. I've seen a few other people mention it in the past so I knew about it but have never really read anything about it as such.

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

No, I've vaped with no flavours whatsoever and still had the issues. I'm happy with mint. I was a menthol smoker. I don't desire to inhale yummy food flavourings anyway. Don't understand it to be honest. It's a bit like window shopping, lol!

    Using nicorette gum AND vaping?

Thanks. I've never even TRIED nicorette so I have no idea how it will affect me. I am prone to palpitations already :( You can get 2 mg gum I believe? I would probably try that.

    Using nicorette gum AND vaping?

Is this possible? Has anyone else done it? I'm toying with the idea of trying to limit my vaping (side effects with both VG and PG) and also possibly getting myself psychologically used to not being so reliant on the whole hand to mouth thing. Would love to hear from anyone who had had...

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

Wintering, all I ever vape is mint. I can't taste any of the flavours anyway (especially with VG I couldn't) At least the mint I can detect "something" of a flavour in my mouth. I think that's a good idea for you to try and rule out the possibility that flavours could be causing you some...

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

Thanks for the link mmsjs. I read through it but honestly my feeling is that I would be too scared to try vaping with PEG. So far I've had (am having) negative health effects from both VG and PG and those are things "most" people can tolerate with no problems. To try something where I can't...

Hi, and some MSDS data on PG

I was reading about PEG from a link supplied by somebody else on a thread I started yesterday and decided to search for PG on Wikipedia and found it interesting to see that in amongst all the information there was mention that certain individual users of PG in electronic cigarettes have reported...

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

Hey MMsjs thanks , yes I know many people use the smokeless as an alternative and I suppose one of these days I will probably end up giving it a go. The only thing that makes me reluctant is the fact that my mouth and tongue seems to object so much as it is to vaping that I worry that all those...

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

Wintering as far as I understand smoking cigarettes can disrupt your hormone levels so it seems logical to me that by quitting smoking thyroid hormones could also temporarily go a bit out of whack. It's such a huge physical change for your body to go through. In fact I was wondering myself if...

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

Well that's encouraging to know Anima. Perhaps by playing with the percentages then I may have some luck? I hope so anyway.

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

Sorry to hear that Wintering. It sucks doesn't it! Especially when so many others (my husband included) are just doing so fantastically WELL with vaping. I just don't understand it. Strange that you would lose so much weight ...with VG? The only thing I can relate to with sudden weight...

PG/VG neither seems to be working for me?

This is my experience. Vaping 100% VG at first made me feel fantastic! Clear lungs after all those years of smoking - I was ecstatic! (Just ecstatic to finally quit smoking!) Sense of smell back - wonderful! Feeling like I could walk up hills and not even pant a little - amazing! My...

    Question on my father's behalf

You get far less nicotine when vaping and this can cause constipation. More fibre, more water, more exercise (walking?). Honey and lemon in warm water first thing in the morning, prunes, dates, olive oil... It's a pain in the proverbial......you know what, but I reckon it's a matter of time...

Chest & side pains, anxiety, sore throat, & coughing up phlem since I started using my e-cig. (Warning : Really long / Life story type post)

Hi, you're not alone. I too experienced similar things when vaping VG. Facial flushing, rash on my face and one particular night of intense all over prickly itching that drove me insane! I'm vaping 100% PG now and have had no itching or facial flushing but since I weaned myself off those...

Sores in Mouth and Burnt Tongue - Heated Micro Spheres of Death!

When you say "mouth sores" I presume you mean mouth ulcers? I have read that this is a very common side effect of quitting smoking and occurs even when people quit cold turkey - no vaping involved. Our bodies surely must go through such a shock physically giving up all those chemicals, but...

Sores in Mouth and Burnt Tongue - Heated Micro Spheres of Death!

I'm vaping PG - spearmint flavour. 12 mg nic. My tongue reacted the same with VG and strawberry.

Sores in Mouth and Burnt Tongue - Heated Micro Spheres of Death!

I'm confused. Not really very technical here but my husband has a provari, which as far as I can understand has a much hotter vapour than my Ego,(I've had a few drags and it feels much warmer) but still I can't imagine that his vapour could get anywhere near hot enough to actually burn the...

    Question for the women vapers!

Thanks Sallie, and Blue :) The thing that I'm realising is that it appears that many doctors over here completely pooh pooh the idea of "perimenopause" or are just totally ignorant. It seems, from their perspective, that there are only two states of being for a woman. You're either...
