DIY - Is it worth it in Canada?

They've always shipped to Canada. Had some credit card processor issues, but heard that was resolved.

    Nic base pulled by customs

No idea, but they'd have to open the bottle. Nic testing Kits can be bought at ebay and several other companies and they involve sampling the liquid. A chemist would know best. I'd imagine if the bottle label indicated nicotine they wouldn't have to open it.

Mod holder for the car ?

Look around for 4" thick DOW polystyrene insulation (Blue or Pink stuff) at your local building mart (Both Rona & Home Depot carry it). Easy to form for console for your make of car with hacksaw, heating wire and what not. Holes easily made with hole drill bits to hold your PV, and doesn't...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

I think these ceramics continue to get better over time, and you may not have noticed the gradual improvements. Replicate the setup and let time do it's thing. I've also had what I would call "Golden Wicks" but mostly with other types.

    Nic base pulled by customs

I wouldn't accept a re-shipment to me either for the very same reasons. That's why nic always comes from vendors who are beyond reputable. Anything CC intercepts ... it's theirs. Point #2 ... if CC flagged it, chances are they opened the bottle for testing. Who would resell that?

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Just looking at the picture you may have taken off a bit too much. It's barely noticeable when done, only about .2mm difference all around. Better than half the time I spent with that little 545 Dremel wheel getting the wick hole section nearly perfect. Too bad that broke on you ... would have...

What reactions do you guys get vaping in public?

Most people haven't seen a high-tech electronic cigarette before and are usually mildly interested what it is. I vape it everywhere, everyone's been OK on it so far.

    Terrible time with AGA-T+

Not vaporizing the juice that's coming up if not air-pressure related. Likely a coil/wick contact issue of sorts. Also make sure your wiring is fastened down properly, no loose contacts.

What makes a mod a "mechanical" mod?

I was under the impression that silver-plated spring was some sort of highlight pushing the 'contact' envelope into the next phase of 105% conductivity? What happened with that? The Poldiac will be my next purchase ... when it becomes available again.

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Should you decide to make a short vid on it, I'd love to see it. You know if you go down to 24ga you won't need a rebuild kit anymore as it welds it altogether ... What could be better in life than pushing limits ... It's all nice and fine how ~ZEN does it with 32ga and thin SS, but...

What is your Ohm + Voltage sweet spot?

    AGA-T2, 5/32 ceramic wick, 30ga Kanthal, 7.6 watts, 1.7ohm, 3.7v on either eVic, Provari or a mechanical.

on the hunt for 325x325 ss mesh

Go for 500. It works better no matter what your PG/VG juice ratio is.

DIY - Is it worth it in Canada?

See, nicotine is a restricted substance and vendors take some minor risks bringing it in for you, but you have good assurance you will receive your order. Drawbacks ... they are very expensive, and some refuse to tell you, if they actually tell you the truth, where the nic is from. It's these...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Ceramic wick cut from Topfin bubblestone for AGA-T2 with 4mm previously milled-out wickhole. Wick pass-through diameter give or take 3.5mm - 3.8mm so juice can travel up unrestricted. Top reservoir of wick is 13/64 for a 3/4, 30ga Kanthal wrap, and comes within 1mm of the cap's roof. Top back...

    Nic base pulled by customs

I'd just like to add that the Canadian vendor needs to tell you where he got his nic-base from. Actually their shipping is very professional and discreet. Always got their stuff through. I would care if it were made in Canada, but it's just marked up Chinese or USA goods. I go where the price...

    Aga t2??

The AGA-T2 is a fantastic Genny. Had nothing but success with it.

    Evic failing, After new ideas!

Have you tried re-flashing it to v1.2? I don't see physical/mechanical issues here. Tried recharging another battery? They do wear out, or maybe something wrong with it. There are also settings for this you can adjust. Temp sensor is a setting. Date and time from the MPR. I suggest you go to...

    AGA T2 Rebuildable Atomizer

Put flat on table, use magnifying glass to check for voids. You can also pour in liquid while holding the glass pressed down and see where most of the seepage occurs. Nonetheless, the seal is cushioned bridging unevenness', so if they exist, it should be easily visible. Whether the glass is...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

One has to look rather careful to even note the gradual recession of the 1/8 section. The transition is not abrupt. Strength was not something I was concerned with in the design because the 1/8 CF-2000 I had never gave me any issues. I can see slotting them creates more area for travel, but I...
