    eVic and AGA-T2

I have never found any reason to install any washers onto the AGA-T2. Yeah, washers do not fix shorts between the mesh and the coil as the result of improper wrapping/rolling and/or inadequate oxidization. That kind of power can also pop 30ga Kanthal. 28ga would be more suitable for those...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

I anneal them with 2 - 18350s using a mechanical ... I've also done this maxing out the Provari getting nice bright orange coils, but the 6 volt mech makes it even hotter and seems to render the wire even more pliable after a dozen cycles. It does sag a bit, but not too much with the power...

Hi yall...hoping to be new evic owner soon!

I've had 2 eVic for almost 5 months and never had one shut down, and they're on the road with me most of the time where the knocks would occur.

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

I do the maximum possible with 28ga, irrespective what any theory says. It's about hot, cold, hot, cold ... extreme thermal changes ... about a dozen times or so that makes the wire very pliable if you wrap by hand around wick already installed in atty and best coiled right away without any...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Suppose we have a half inch thick piece of resistance wire let's say 2 feet long at 1.5 ohms. No way any rechargeable battery as we know it can make that wire glow. The missing factor is AMPS, lots and lots of AMPS since we use batteries that are limited to 3.7 volts. I'm sure it's been...

Cleaning Clearomizers -- How and How Often?

Every 2 refills or so when I used to vape clearos. No dryburning, I soak the BBC atty in ISO Prop for a couple days every 10 days or so, and keep lots of them around to rotate about. However the polycarb tank section I rinse with hot water as ISO etches it.

    2900mah Panasonic High Drain NCR18650PD

I have some Panasonic-Orbtronic High Drain 18650 2900mAh NCR18650PD Hybrid Li-ion batteries on the way. 18 amp max discharge, hopefully they discharge just as fast as AW IMRs. NCR18650PD High Drain Panasonic 18650 2900 mAh Li-ion Battery from USA

Looking for 18650 Battery 510 Mod

No clue why you have this back-off on telescopes, since these allow for a wider variety of batteries to be installed and is far more user friendly. In other words, no futzing around. Here is a pic of my Roller with AGA-T2 ... it's a superb mod, permits for a complete flush mount too...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Let's say you have a 1" long section of 32ga Kanthal wire and another 2" long 28ga piece. Both may have the same resistance, but the 28ga wire produces far more heat and requires more energy. On the eVic, which displays ohms, volts and watts on it's interface, you can mount a 1.5 ohm, 32ga atty...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

I've started on a cap fan design too ...

    Battery brand

I hold them to my ear and time it. The vape also shows the same. Yup, thicker takes longer, thus I need to find one that most optimally meets my setup, both in terms of discharge speed and charge-life. It's the long 28ga wire, ie. 6/7 wrap I'm contending with, and a battery that works best with...

    Battery brand

Personally I believe that to be a false standard. The performance of High Drain batteries is quite apparent even below 11 watts. In fact IMRs respond quite a bit faster than ICRs either way. The quantity of amps delivered and the speed of it's delivery are not remotely the same thing. This holds...

    ▪ AW 18650 IMR 2000mAh ▪ Panasonic 18650 Li-Mn-Li-ion CGR18650CH High Drain 10A 2250mAh ▪ Efest 2600 High Drain IMR 18650 ... are all good 'high drain' batteries. Of the above, the AW IMR 18650 has the fastest response (highest discharge), but also the most short-lived before recharge...

    ss mesh wick

Check your pos. and neg. atty connections to ensure everything is down tight. 2.0 ohms is a tad high. Power eVic down and restart to get a reading.

    Mech Mod Question

Have you considered troubleshooting your RBA issue because you are missing out on the very best vapes, and in my opinion, the headaches would be worth it to do so. You'd also get the most out of your mech.

    RSST turning liquid brown??

It takes me less time to make a new wick than to make a new thread why my wick might turn brown. Then you'll have your answer. I rinse my tanks with PG and then wetburn that off ... water never gets into my tanks, therefore never concerned with rust.

    Mech Mod Question

You will get the most benefits out of a mechanical with Genny RBAs. Personally I wouldn't use one on a carto or clearo, but then that's just my choice.
  19. Hello World

    ss mesh wick

No fires, flames, etc. required. If you have a mechanical mod, that's all you need to oxidize your coils using the 'Pulse Method".
  20. Hello World

Hi yall...hoping to be new evic owner soon!

The AW IMR 18650 will probably give you the very best performance in the eVic as it responds very quickly because of it's enormous ability to discharge nearly instantly. 'High Drain' is one thing, how fast it can do so is another, and the eVic does not brake response time.
