    At first glance sounds almost like extreme dry hits to me. 50/50 shouldn't cause it for most people. Never tried cartos, so can't advise on that. Add clean water, ie. not directly from the tap. The advices have ranged from 1 drop per 1ml to 1 in 10mls.

    These El cheapo AGA-T2s for $ 25 have been performing every bit as good as my $ 150+ ZAP ... the vape is just awesome ... 30ga Kanthal gives me just about everything I could ask for, plus they have additional room for much larger wickhole mill-outs than the ZAP has, thus much higher potentials.

    Been my experience where a persistent hot spot between the very top leg of the coil leading to the pos. post exists where no amount of wire/coil technique/manipulation has resolved the situation ... at least a partial short circuit exists in either the wickhole, bottom or post of the tank the SS...
