Buying e-juice from the US just got more expensive.

More and more people getting into DIY ... between the price of e-liquids and shipping it all adds up. Better natural and organic flavors have been coming out that makes the whole process a lot easier. I have enough nic-base stock for 15 years ... maybe the freezer will play along.

Rising e-cigarette sales spur call for regulations

ie. users should not have the choice of e-cigs unless they meet criterias for "cessation" or "harm reduction". All just legal beagle drivel. E-cigs don't fit their horse-blinders and cyborg views of the world. Ironically, NRTs which have proven to be failed "cessation" products are...

Anyone else stressing over wicking material?

One end of Zen's plastic insulator is burned brown. I tested polyolefin-based heat shrink tubing set 2mm below the top of the wickhole on a SS wick dry-burned continuously for well over 30 minutes. No plastic fumes, scents, no burn-marks. My 4mm-bore AGA-T2 SS unoxidized solid wicks are very...

USA Always Last - eVic SS Mods

$ 100 for this telescoping eVic mod to the left. bOd by Leo. Made in Greece. Took 10 days to arrive from Ireland. I paid the same Europeans do and shipping was only $6.

Anyone else stressing over wicking material?

I use Heat-shrink tubing (Thin Stuff) on unoxidized SS wicks snugly fit into wickholes. "Free floating" and sudden mysterious inopportune intermittent shorts I don't have time for. If you are dealing with RBAs ... you are gonna have to learn things, no way around it.

    eVic and amp question again!

You can turn the voltage up, but 11 watts is the limit. I'm running the eVic on an AGA-T2 with 30ga wire at 1.7Ω. 4.2v is the limit at slightly below 11 watts. I can turn the voltage all the way to 5 volts, but nothing more actually happens after 4.2 volts. The eVic Menu does not seem to...

Health Canada’s E-Cig restrictions deserve to go up in smoke

Well done knocking out the misinformation. I have not yet run into anyone opposed to e-cig ... even non-smokers, and it's been at least 50 people. Most I have found are either indifferent or curious and my dentist asked me to bring in my PV for the next visit, 'cause he wants to see what it...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

My AGA-T2s just arrived. 4.7mm exactly between post and inside tank. The O-Ring grooves are too far away to be concerned with. 3.8mm to clear the sides of top silicone seal without having to rock the wick in. 11/64th could be done by nicking the seal, but I have decided not to do that. Cutting...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Some infos I just culled on the AGA-Tiamat and AGA-T2: "The next big thing in rebuildable atomizer tanks is here the AGA-T2 /AGA-T2+ whatever you want to call it. (all the same the AGA-T+ is really the name for the poly carbonite and the AGA-T2 is the name for the Pyrex Glass)" Smartvapes...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

I'm pretty sure the AGA-T2 has that room plus a little more, which I'm going to cut at 4mm. The inside of it's cap also did not strike me as stainless steel, but some other alloy, but I can't be sure.

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

1/8 = 3.2mm, 9/64 = 3.6mm. Even in the picture another .3 mm a side is available. I can only reiterate 1mm is available from the edge of the wickhole to the tank-side pos. post. I can see from here the actual distances available with my AGA-T2 right in front of me that I can cut 9/16 ... no...
  16. Hello World

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

There is at least 3mm between coil and wick (from top) which can be narrowed down by 1 mm easily, even more. (1.5mm to center post as seen from inside tank) You also have approx. 2mm to the outside, and you can steal 1mm from there too. A 9/64 centered will only take out another .6mm max per...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

I'm going to start with 9/64 and see how that goes, how much clearance is available for juice to easily travel up the sides. I would imagine VG might be a thicker slick on the outside, want to make sure no restrictions exist. I always have to wait 2 - 4 weeks before I actually receive what I...

    Alternate DIY Flavoring ...

Transferred .2ml TFA Double R4Y to another bottle set into a pot of boiling water held by stats with lid open for about 15 minutes before the perfumy stench was finally nearly gone. Used 1 drop for 1ml (3%)... the liquid is now nearly clear, odorless and the flavor no longer gets stuck in my...

    Alternate DIY Flavoring ...

Thanks, will test that too. Great input. I have done the hot water thing so far, and that also has not helped things. Comes from here: Concentrated Flavorings|Sugar Free Drink | Flavor Drops I'm very aware of rebottlers and what not. I always try to go to the source and why I have multiple ones.
