I would love to be noble and say that he was the only reason, but I did it for a lot of reasons. I smoked 2-3 packs a day and was always tired and out of breath. Guess I just got sick of feeling like crap all the time.
Just chiming in- When I started, I wanted something that looked and 'felt' like an cigarette because that's what 30 years of lighting up taught me. Very quickly though, I started wanting bigger and better. Now I carry ten pounds of gear with me just to go check the mail... and I wouldn't have it...

I've had mine now for a couple months and love it! A little too big to use as my 'on the go' pv, but I use it all the time around the house. Charge lasts FOREVER and makes a great back up power supply for my phone.
