Who's afraid of use nickel or titan wires, may try kanthal wire with heather menu. I am testing Kanthal D 0,60 ohm, 21watts a heather prot set to 9. Atomizer Origen genesis MKII v2 with mesh. Taste is very good and comparable to the TC -

I'm running AISI 316 SS- AWG28 coil in Ti or Ni Mode a has no problem. Better results (flavor and taste) are from Ni mode. The instant temp protect problem is therefore too watts are set. My setup - dual coil on mesh, 250 F NI mod, 23w ,0.18ohm, FW 1.20 -

I use SS coil with mesh wick on Ni mode as well as on Ti mode about 2 weeks. On Ni mode with 220F 22W 0,17ohm and work for me superb. The flavor is gorgeous, better than on cotton - FW 1.2 -

I test SS coil (SS 316 AWG 28) today on mesh wick in my favorite atomizer origen genesis MKII. Set the temperature in F instead C, because 100C was a bit hot. Adjust wattage to 25w and holly grall of vaping. Resistance is 0,45. I think must be higher resistance of SS wire avoid to bumping in TC... -

So for me there seems to be no issue using Temp control in either Ti or Ni mode. Will vape this tank out today to continue my testing but so far so good. Will post later today to see if it maintains its resistance and vape quality. I have black box evic vt mini too and I used a EGo One Mega...
