    GMS - Silver Pin Issue

It says 92.5% silver... that's sterling. The other 7.5% is usually copper.

    GMS - Silver Pin Issue

It's probably sterling. Pure silver is too soft, and tarnishes pretty easily. Sterling has all the power, none of the hassle. :)

Mechs and batt life? New to mechs...

I typically run a 0.8 - 1.0 ohm dual coil, and with an 18500 (my preferred battery), I usually get about a day of moderate vaping. An 18650 will get me a day and a half, perhaps a little more. The battery dropoff is not as scary as you might think. In fact, I don't really notice a dropoff much...

    Establishments Banning E-Cigs - 2 reasons

This may sound blasphemous, but I can kind of understand why some places are wary of APVs. I remember when I first saw a mod (a Silver Bullet), I thought to myself "Oh my god, that looks insane!" Now, for me, mods are the only thing I use. It's important to know about laws, but you have to also...

    A real introduction!

I'm using Ekowool, 2mm looped, with 4 wraps of 30g Kanthal... I use the same stuff in my Helios (same looped Ekowool, but I do two 5 wrap coils, which gives me about 0.8 ohms total). Perhaps it just has to do with switching from dual coil to single coil again. I'm still getting good throat hit...

    A real introduction!

Thank you all! I'm happy to be here. I don't necessarily consider one mod better than another... I just consider them part of the family. Some family members you see more often then others, some you see all day... but you still love 'em all! Yeah, the red door was a bit more sparkly than I...

What was your first e-cig (and 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc)

A very brief overview: 1.) Mistic from Walmart... gotten as a novelty after I told my girlfriend I would try to quit smoking 2.) V2 Cigs: which is what officially got me off the analogs 3.) eGo-C: which is what sparked my interest in mods (I originally thought the idea of owning one was crazy)...

    A real introduction!

So, I posted a question about the 510 connector about a week ago, but here's my real introduction into Reoville. I originally got my Reo for the car, since I drive up to Massachusetts about once a month to see my (lovely) girlfriend, but I've been using it more as an all day vape lately...

    Question on the 510 connection

Awesome, thank you! I'm assuming it's stainless steel, or is it plated brass?

    Question on the 510 connection

Hello all, just got a Reo Grand yesterday, and I have a quick question about the 510 connection. Is it cut directly into the aluminum, or is it some kind of insert? I'm always wary of aluminum threads, especially on 510 connections. And if they are, has anyone managed to wear theirs down, or...

VHO Titan, on its way! :)

Ecig Tank Airflow Controller They're at a lot of places. :-) Just have to wait for more stock. These things go in and out, so it shouldn't take too long! EDIT: www.vermillionriverejuice.com/Tank-Air-Flow-Controller_p_175.html In stock here

VHO Titan, on its way! :)

No, it screws into the Titan's topcap (or any PV) and you can screw the Protank into it. It's a good way to preserve your PV's threads, too :-)

VHO Titan, on its way! :)

The funny thing is, the Protank 2 has slots cut into the bottom of it as well... so there should be plenty of airflow. Have you tried the Protanbk on any other mod? There should be two holes on the 510 connection of the Protank (right above the male threads). If it has those, the Titan's female...

VHO Titan, on its way! :)

There are little slots cut into the top cap for airflow... Do you mean the draw is just too tight for you, or there is zero airflow? John has it right if you just want a more airy draw, but if there's zero air that's a different problem altogether.

My small but strong mod collection so far...

That Titan looks like it could use a good polish! ;) I just polished mine the other day, and it looks better than the day I got it. But seriously, nice lineup. Sometimes it not about quantity, but quality!

    The Digital Cig - Fantastic!

About three weeks ago I ordered a Lavafire Lock (a Titan clone) in stainless steel from The Digital Cig. It shipped promptly, and securely. However, I was in Massachusetts when the package arrived, and a day or two later I received an email from Tim himself about a mistake that was made. That...

    EA Mod Button Help

You can unscrew that brass insert from the body of the mod. It's in pretty tight, so do it with care. I wrapped a little towel around the threads on the inside and gave it a nice jerk with pliers and it screwed out easy as pie. It's that initial force you want to take care with so you don't...

    EA Mod Button Help

Go to Home Depot and find something called an e-clip. I forget the size, but they're super cheap, so just get a bunch (or take the button with you for sizing). The EA comes stock with a c-clip... an e-clip will hold much better, and can be removed without deformation. Hope this helps :)

    High end mech mods

I'm a big Pinoy fan myself. I love the industrial look of most of them. The Titan by VHO has pretty much become my standard in mods. I'm also a big fan of Yasu75, an Italian modder. He makes the Galileo and the Vinci (one of the more unique bottom feeders you're likely to see, but also crazy...

    Reversed battery polarity in mechs

Damn physics, you win again! I bite my thumb at thee.
