who makes stainless and copper mods ?
I think the MKB-TS has plated copper endcaps... you could always sand them down to the bare copper. I personally find copper to be an ugly metal. It's works great for contacts, but it's also high maintenance, as it'll oxidize faster than you can polish it. -

I disagree. I didn't really pay attention to voltage drop until I got a mod with low voltage drop. And this isn't just about cheap vs. expensive, I've got a stainless steel Galileo that I absolutely adore (and for how well it's made, and a price tag of 130 Euros, I would consider it fairly high... -

The voltage dropoff is not as bad as you think... in fact, until my batteries get to about 3.7v, I have a hard time telling the difference. A lot of higher end dripping attys have high temp plastic, and can withstand some serious heat. At least, I know the Helios can. RDAs catching fire?
Bingo! If you ever oxidized a mesh wick by doing the juice burn, you'll notice that e-liquid burns off quite violently. Some people I know torch their silica while it's still connected to the RDA for a total cleaning (I personally wouldn't do this for fear of ruining the atomizer itself). But...- Richard75

It's harder to tell from that picture than I thought it would be... haha. How about this: To the left is the nickel plated copper, and to the right is the sterling silver. And for the record, that's a nice patina you got going on that bronze! :) -

I'm not claiming they're lying (I love nimbus9vape) but based on the price I think they're wrong. It's easy to mistake the two, and the specs differ almost by the website (I saw a site claiming the Cronus had brass caps, which is close but still wrong) I'd have to see a picture of your Cronus'... -

They're not silver; they're nickel plated copper. All Titans these days come with that instead of the bare copper (unless you get one from an earlier run). To my knowledge, only the Cronus from VapeheadUSA comes preinstalled with the silver positive contact. -

I hope you enjoy them! Here's a tip with the Helios: make sure to build your coils relatively high so they're in line with the air holes. I first built them pretty low, and got an insanly harsh vape. As long as they're right at the little holes that you put the wires through (or slightly above)... -

I've been thinking about this for a few minutes... If you're getting a shock on your lips that essentially means your body is completing the circuit. But for the life of me I can't think of any possible way for this to happen under normal circumstances... What kind of atomizer are you using? -

I just got my silver pin upgrade for my Titan today... I was surprised at the difference it made. Not really with sheer power, but my atomizer fires completely the instant I press the button. Even with copper it took a (brief) moment to really get going. I'm currently running a Trident on it...
