When do batteries vent?

Why pay well over $100 for a mech when a clone of it is a fraction of the price?
Personally, I think it's wrong to classify mods into only two categories. I think we need to view them on an individual basis, because each mod will perform differently. I have a 230 dollar mod that outperforms a 200 dollar mod... that same 200 dollar mod was also outperformed by a Smoktech... -
Charred center post with Cobra genesis?
I don't think they're brass... unless they're chrome plated or something. The center post is brass, but the nuts are an almost shiny white. I pulled out my Brasso and rubbed a small dab on to see if it would clean it off, but it doesn't appear to be polishable. Obviously this doesn't affect...- Richard75

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced blackened/burned/charred-looking stains on the nuts around the center post, where you trap the wire? 23mm OD mechanical mods for 18350
I think the Sigelei #19 is 23mm... the problem is that the Terminator has this little ledge at the bottom that makes it impossible to sit totally flush on most mods, so unless you modded it, you might be having a weird gap between mod and atomizer. -

Low profile switch on a cheap mech?

You're always gonna need some space for the switch and 510 connection, there's no getting around it! If you're looking for one that the button doesn't protrude at all, I remember seeing a Sigelei that has a totally flush button, and you have to push it up into the base to fire. I forget what... -

It wouldn't help as much as a polishing, but it would help. You don't even have to soak it, just wipe it down (you can use alcohol if you want, I normally just do a dry wipe with a microfiber cloth). That said, I think the MKB-TS uses a steel spring, which isn't the best for conductivity... -

Yeah, if you can find one! My Nautilus/Terminator is currently my most reliable rebuildable (perhaps that will change when I get my Cobra). But it's always good to remember that while original may be the best option, a copy is (by process of elimination) the second best option. :tongue: -

So I got my Cronus a few days ago, and I was so hoping it would be a 22mm mod, but alas, it appears to be a very odd 21mm. So Rich... any chance you could shave off a millimeter or two from the Richman? :p I'm just kidding, but it would be a cool thing to offer different sizes for different mods!- Richard75
