    What's your day job?

I'm technically a chemist, but I'm currently a customer service representative for a global chemical company. I'm working my way to the lab. ;-)

Did My Coil Randomly Just Burn Out?

I've only ever burned out, or "popped", one coil, and that was back when I used an eGo C. I could tell almost immediately, I got this big burst of a nasty flavor akin to a dry hit, then nothing. I doubt your coil decided to commit suicide while you were sleeping, though. It sounds like it may...

build quality of clones (nemesis and kayfun lite plus)

Found it! It's for the Russian, but should fit a Kayfun and it's clones. Russian, 91%, Rebuildable, Atomizer, Kayfun, Lite, It looks like everything is sold out though... might want to bookmark it and check every now and again. EDIT: Looks like there's more than one site for this stuff. This...

build quality of clones (nemesis and kayfun lite plus)

It's not just a clone thing, it can happen with the authentic stuff. I once received a mod (very expensive and from overseas) that had a massive scratch in one of the pieces (and I mean a gouge). Luckily the manufacturer is a great guy and personally sent me out a replacement part. He covered...

    Longest you went without vaping

I get breaks at work, and I sleep an average of 6 hours a night. So I'd say the longest I've gone without a vape is about 8 straight hours, which is when I take a bus to Boston (factoring in a bus switch in NY, and the unreliability of the Peter Pan bus, it comes to about 8 hours). One time my...

    My Kayfun betrayed me...

I find my Kayfun leaks occasionally when I use a high PG juice. And I don't use microcoils, I use fat, chunky silica. I believe the right amount of leakage creates a syphon of sorts. If I catch it early, I just invert it and take a few quick vapes and that dries it up. If it starts to leak...

    After Provari....

If you're using it all day, every day, inside and outside, winter and summer... I'd say three years is pretty good. A new laptop starts to slow down after three months. Personally, I've been falling back in love with 1.2+ ohms. I've got my Bliss set up with a 1.4 ohm microcoil with mesh, on top...

    YOUR top 5 mods?

I've boiled my mod collection down to three that I use regularly: 1. SS Chi_You (versatile, dependable, beautiful - what more could you want in a mech?) 2. Provari (it might only look good with a handful of rebuildables, but it works perfect every time) 3. Galileo v3 (stainless steel version...

    Mod upgrades....only 1/2 the story.

I went through my mod craze while I was still using carto tanks. After you find two or three mods you absolutely love, you start looking into nice toppers, and suddenly you have atomizer craze. Then one day, you get an atomizer or two that you absolutely love, and you want a nice new mod to...

Where to get replacement button springs.....

Home Depot sells packs of springs for about 5 bucks. Most of them won't work for you, but usually there's one in there to fit each mod that I have (and I believe there's 5 of each spring in a pack). I, personally, would just spend the 6 bucks on SUper-T's website. Consider the extra money as...

    Got Screwed!

I love my B&M store, the people there are wonderful and responsible (one of the guys refused to sell an 18350 genesis hybrid clone to a guy because he had zero experience in rebuildables - some may call that bad business practices, I call it being a responsible vape shop!), but I only ever...

How do i clean my RDA?

The only extra thing I would do is to replace any o-rings or anything "rubbery", like if your RBA uses a silicon insulator. Those are the things that retain smell. Anything metal or plastic (especially Delrin) will be fine with a good wash.

I was "Dream Smoking" last night

I had a smoke dream once... I was at my house, I lit one up. I remember briefly thinking about a year of vaping down the drain, but it didn't seem to bother me. They do say that dreams are of no significance to modern psychology, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. ;)

Philippines made mods? is it worth it?

But "......ed" is a term used in Physics (and Chemistry). There's something called the "......ation factor", in chromatography. In physics, the process of (anything) slowing down is generally referred to as ......ation. I'm not defending the use of the word towards people, but people that get...

How to replace a Fuego mod's spring with magnets

The Magneto has a pretty exclusive system with the magnets, as in you won't have much luck switching them to a different mod. Here's a video for the Chi You: Chi-You Magnet Upgrade!!! - YouTube Some mods aren't really made for magnets, though. I has a Pisces-T and an Atom, and the throws were...

High-End Mechanicals Chat, Tips, and Pics

The Chi Sleek is a very nice 14500 mod... if she's going to get into sub ohming though, try to convince her to go with an 18xxx series, as even an AW IMR 14500 has a lower amp limit than an 18350. BTW, I'll trade you a nearly new Chi_You with a lightly used Kayfun Lite Plus for your girlfriend. :D

Which collector's mods have appreciated in value the most?

Caravela's are probably the best example, as they're discontinued now and some would consider them "priceless". Some others that come to mind are most anything by Super T (their ELA is probably second to the Caravela) and stuff like the GP Paps (2.5 and X). Also, an early version GGTS can go...

Philippines made mods? is it worth it?

Here's a quote from Doc Dave on his Facebook page about the Reactor hybrid. He said he was hoping for it to be under $500. For a hand made, Titanium hybrid in the USA. An average Korean worker considers 1,000,000 Won in a month to be low if in a main city. That's about 1,000 USD a month. So...

    Suggestions?

No prob! Just be careful and make sure your mod is stable... you only need to fire the coil for a few seconds, but it'll be enough to do some damage to your fingers if you slip. :p If you have a multimeter with the little clamps, that helps.
