    Suggestions?

That's not how you find the voltage drop. To properly check the drop, you need to measure the voltage under load, while your atomizer is firing. They make contraptions for this that go between the mod and the battery. Or you take a multimeter, and you hold the positive (red) needle to the...

Philippines made mods? is it worth it?

Man, you really have a vendetta against high end mods. Rapture is happy he found a high end mod he loves, and said nothing about it compared to a clone. Leave the man alone.

Favorite Mechanical Mods and Attys- PICS!

I posted this in the high end mechanicals thread, but I thought I'd post it here too: ~0.8 ohm microcoil/mesh setup on the AIOS. Now comes the wait for my Mojo drip tip!

High-End Mechanicals Chat, Tips, and Pics

This is all I'll ever really need in life... My AIOS has a ~0.8 ohm microcoil and mesh setup, with Pluid cut down to 12mg. Vaping heaven!

    Trident O Rings?

Take the unbroken ones to a Home Depot (or similar) and size them up. Chances are you'll find a size that works, and they're cheap enough that you can buy different sizes to experiment :-)

    FT Nemesis Clone just ordered

30 gauge works perfect (for me) in my Kayfun. Two strands of 2.5mm silica, wrap 4/5 wraps, and you've got about 1.1 ohms. I don't like anything below 1 ohm on a Kayfun (or anything besides a dripper), so I go through 30 gauge at lightning speed compared to 28.

Don't get scammed! How to identify a genuine Atmomixania vs. Fasttech or HCigar Nemesis Clone

haha, that wasn't racist at all. I'm just kidding! I'd never tell you how to spend your money. Nor am I a super hardcore originals guy... I selectively own clones. For example, I'm not a fan of the GG products (they're built wonderfully, I just don't like the vibe they give me), so I...

Don't get scammed! How to identify a genuine Atmomixania vs. Fasttech or HCigar Nemesis Clone

While I don't think I'd say clones are "ruining the market", I would like to point out that it's only because of these clones that the poor OP got scammed out of a couple hundred dollars. I know it's not exactly the fault of the clones that some random guy was a jerk, but it's early here, and my...

Don't get scammed! How to identify a genuine Atmomixania vs. Fasttech or HCigar Nemesis Clone

Ever since Doc Dave broke down the production costs of his Reactor hybrid on the Facebook page (after someone questioned the price), I don't think I believe the "original mods are insanely overpriced" thing. Just because a Chinese company can make dirt cheap mass productions, doesn't mean a USA...

Don't get scammed! How to identify a genuine Atmomixania vs. Fasttech or HCigar Nemesis Clone

The classifieds here doesn't support flippers... In fact, most if the time it's below retail. The only times I've seen flipper prices are for so-called "unicorns". Caravelas, Hellfires, stuff like that. There's also the 20% above retail rule. But I've seen this enforced only a handful of...

Don't get scammed! How to identify a genuine Atmomixania vs. Fasttech or HCigar Nemesis Clone

They just make sure your info here matches the info on Paypal (or something like that haha). It didn't take that long for me, maybe two or three days. :-)

Don't get scammed! How to identify a genuine Atmomixania vs. Fasttech or HCigar Nemesis Clone

Atmomixani needs to take some cues from Mojo... the "authentication badge" was a brilliant idea on his part. This is why I only buy telescopes from Craigslist. Submaniac, get verified here and use the ECF classifieds to buy used gear. I haven't heard of anyone getting scammed there...

Spring material in mech mod switch

Making a spring out of Kanthal is totally possible, but a big no no! The spring on most mechs technically connects the button itself to the body of the mod, so it is part of the circuit. If you stick a Kanthal spring in there, electricity is going to flow through it... and heat it up just like...

    Kayfun lite plus issues

Maybe post a picture of your setup? That might help a diagnosis. What ratio PG/VG is your juice? If it's higher in VG, you might need to tighten the draw so the thick juice gets sucked into the chamber.

    Your favorite flavor(s)

I've been vaping Pluid almost exclusively for the last month. I remember Mt Baker Vapor's Absinthe being wonderful, so I think my all day vape is coming down to a general Black Licorice. One of my other favorites is Lehigh Vapor's (a local store) Ice Strawberry Kiwi. It's funny, I never smoked...

mouth hit vs direct lung hits

I love both, but what I do depends on a combination of atomizer and juice. Anything with menthol in it I prefer a mouth hit, or any bottom fed genesis, for me, is a mouth hit device. A more complex flavor I think I'd use mouth hits (some you can taste before you inhale, and it can taste...

    Provari fires by itself?!

I'm not positive, but I seem to remember the v2.0 having a 3 amp limit. The 3.5 amp limit is v2.5, but someone correct me. So if you want to use something at 6 volts, you'll have to build a coil around the 2 ohm range. And auto-firing while checking the resistance (and battery voltage) is...

    Steam Turbine Woes

What would you consider "a decent vape"? I own several Bliss atomizers (essentially the same as the Steam Turbine, just not as fancy a cap and glass protector). They're absolute pains to set up and get rid of hotspots, but when I get them right (dual coils, 0.8 - 1.0 ohm total) the vape is...

    Taking along spare coils...

A well built coil can easily last 2 weeks with regular dry burns. A well built microcoil can last months, and cotton can be bought virtually anywhere. The only time you really have to worry about popping a coil is when using stainless steel mesh, but as long as you set it up right to begin with...

    clone vs original- noticeable difference?

Rainbow Heaven is a Chinese company I would trust as far as quality of their clones go. I think they were the first to really go the 1:1 route, with their Terminator vs. Imeo's Odysseus. The Terminator is really the only clone I've ever owned, and the quality was outstanding. I'm actually...
