Thanks CES! Yes, search boxes are necessary. deej's been around long enough to know that so I wonder why there's no search there? Anyhow, thanks again!
Okay, now the light is shining in. lol It's the o-rings on the drip tips that need to get a good grip on the Sofia top in order to turn it. The Orange o-ring needs to be slippery-er than the bottom o-ring so the Sofia top can open the juice control while the black bottom o-ring holds the base...
I think that's an important tip. When I'm turning the top of the Sofia I just turn until it stops...NO need to tighten it closed, just makes it harder to open.
I think 'maybe' when I'm using lots of sweet juices over and over in the same Sofia, that can make the juice-control sticky. So...
Thanks Billie. That gives me more food for thought and things to troubleshoot for. My Cage tank is vaping beautifully right now on a 18350 mech mod with a little FT 1.8 ohm coil. It's vaping as well as a regulated mod at 4.2 volts. This makes me very happy. :D
I went a long time (6 or 8 months?) with no leaking problems whatsoever. So you say I should be thinking just the opposite, to be keeping the tanks 85% filled or less. I'm having a hard time discovering what the leaking problem could be caused by if it's not a problem with the integrity of the...
Billie, I just replaced the wick in my Cage tank with a little more whispy length of cotton and then I cut the cotton legs pretty short. It's been vaping beautifully now for about 45 minutes so I'm very encouraged. I'll remember this and rebuild all my Sofai wicks accordingly. Thanks for your...
But the D-base and Slim tanks don't have refilling ports either. I've also noticed more dry hits in the Cage tank. Can't figure out how to remedy that.
Thanks Billie. Now this was easy in comparison to putting the new insulators on and then into the base. That took all the strength I had! But I've switched out two old insulators with the new ones and only have a few more to go. Wish you were here. haha :)
Boy, this wasn't easy. I need to push the pin a little further into the base. It's sitting at 1 mm now but needs to go in I think just a tiny bit further as some of my mods won't let it screw into the connection. It's working on my Provari for now though so until I need to rebuild, I'm...
Important question. How do I get the new plastic insulator over the central pole? It doesn't want to go over the slightly fatter part of the pole.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)
