The shape is exactly like Lightening Vapes grommets, but they are much more pliable and more iridescent than the "old" stock grommets and the replacement grommets from LV. I ordered these, and they are exactly like the stock grommets. Which is great for someone who doesn't have an issue with the burnt grommet taste, but I seem to be like Tracye. I can taste rubber only THINKING about burning! They are definitely NOT silicone.- jistjul

I bought some of these grommets too. They are exactly the same thing that is in the factory made coils. The thing is, I started rebuilding these atty's to save money. I change them frequently due to my super sensitive taste buds (lately). These are WAY over-priced. That's .62 cents per grommet...- jistjul

This is exactly my problem! All of my rubber grommets have burn spots on them. When you say that the coil is too low in the head, what do you mean? I always wrap mine with a paper clip in the hollow wick and after the wrap I rest the paper clip right in the coil head and feed the two legs...- jistjul
