Why Do People Buy Cheap Junk???

The opening post made me laugh - mostly, I guess, 'cause it's absolutely true. I wasted a lot of money on cheap junk in my first few months of vaping, simply because I didn't know any better. That's what the sites catering to beginners carry, and I can totally see why. Smokers are used to...

    The Shopping Experience: Great Websites

Oh, interesting. Thank you, Junk. I was looking at it primarily from the aesthetic point of view, but I'll make it a point to do exactly what you suggest.

    The Shopping Experience: Great Websites

^ That's true. GotVapes shows every item from many different angles, which can be very helpful. I agree with you about their navigation functions, too - they're pretty dismal. Plus there's waaay too much extraneous text on each page, and too many irrelevant images and links throughout. The...

    The Shopping Experience: Great Websites

Okay . . . Are you talking about customer service, price, shipping time . . . ? There are tons of threads on those things. I was specifically asking about web design here - I happen to be interested in it - but if you really want to drag in that other stuff - go for it. I guess.

    The Shopping Experience: Great Websites

Good morning. I'm hoping to produce a list of beautiful, well-designed websites catering to the vaping community. These can be high end or low end, juice oriented or gear oriented - just so long as they're good looking, well organized and pleasant to use. :) My current fave is Local Vapor...

    indestructible

Two words: Saber Touch. Built like a tank; virtually indestructible; 5 year warranty; USA made; $109 without customizations. They've been around for years now, and simply do not break. :) http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor-moon/89071-vapormoon-com-saber-touch-official-thread.html

What did ya start with? And what was your first mod?

:2cool: I've never heard of "ATCS." That's very cute.

    Hope this is a Typo!!!

Nah. The regular flavors are 12 bucks. http://www.civilvapes.com/e-juice/lush-e-juice Plastic bottles, tacky labels . . . I'm voting goofy publicity thing. There ya go. :)

Too Many Jan Join Dates Asking About Sub Ohm

I think this is a very good idea. The forum can't outlaw rampant stupidity, that's for sure, but it could put forward an official policy statement that comes down hard on dimwitted, irresponsible behavior. I don't have any illusions that this would eliminate major fallout in the case of...

Too Many Jan Join Dates Asking About Sub Ohm

I'm so glad others are concerned about this! It seems to be some sort of plague. The other day I tried to offer a (very gentle) warning to some noob trying to build sub-ohm dual nano-coils or some such thing, and overheating his device in the process. Of course he rejected this outright, and...

    Rant: Vapers using electrical terms...

Lucky for me, I'm a tech idiot, so none of that stuff bothers me one bit. I am fairly literate though, so I used to go absolutely insane whenever people called cigarettes "analogs" or talked about "steeping." But I'm nearly used to even that now, just as I'm sure you'll eventually get used...

2 days smoke free, new to vaping. Overwhelmed!

Congratulations on quitting. :) If you want to keep it super-simple, I think I'd probably recommend an eGo device and a clearomizer or simple tank. Lots of people seem to like Protanks and Vivi-Novas. Both are very easy to use. Just be sure that whatever you choose is compatible with your...

Mod Envy Edition Saber Touch Video Review

Great review. I totally agree with Mr. NitroBex on Saber Touch build quality - and especially on the indestructability of the powder coating. The finish on both my powder coated babies is as perfect now as it was a year ago - and that's saying something in my house! You simply cannot chip that...

What did ya start with? And what was your first mod?

Wow. It looks like a lot of people are starting with eGos now. Kewel. :) I started with SmokeTip cigalikes, and that very same kit has since gone on to help my best friend quit. My first mod was a Saber Touch Mini. I now have 6 mods, and three of those are Saber Touch. I just love them.
