    My mech mod getting hot?

Yep. It sounds like your resistance is too low - though I personally find the Trident a pretty warm vape in general. But seriously. If you're an absolute newb, you probably shouldn't be messing around with dual coil RBAs and mechanical mods, at least until you've researched a bit and know what...

what other vendors actually MAKE the liquid they sell??

I can taste the difference in many flavors, though perhaps not all. My go-to guys, Virgin Vapor and Highbrow, both have a certain personality, if I can put it that way, that extends throughout their entire lines. Love them or hate them, vendors that make their own juices tend to be...

    Best Coffee E-Liquid???

Yeah, it's funny about Tiramisu. Some venders list it in the Coffee section, some list it in the Bakery section, and some list in both. I'm mad crazy for Tiramisu IRL, so I've tried everybody's. I like HB's the best, but that's probably no surprise since they're my all time favorite when it...

    Best Coffee E-Liquid???

If you're going to order from Highbrow, I'd recommend Tiramisu. :) I've tried every one of their coffees, and that's my favorite by far. It doesn't taste like a straight cup of coffee, of course, but the coffee/chocolate combo is very bold and tasty in this one.

Why do some people hate steeping

I don't think I've ever noticed huge improvements after the two week mark either, except for extracted tobaccos, which took a couple of months and then really changed a great deal. But that only makes sense. I'd expect different processes and ingredients to require different aging times...

Why do some people hate steeping

If you want to vape juice right out of the mailbox, and you can't taste the difference, then go for it, by all means. Nobody's going to try and stop you. You can eat raw pancake mix if you want to. You can put filet mignon in the microwave. Nobody cares. Really! :)

Why Do I Have to Steep Juice?

Sounds like complete and total nonsense, Rat6fink.

Do all of these people really make their own coils?

I'm not quite that snazzy just yet, but yeah - if you'd told me a year ago that I'd one day love studying pictures of twisted ribbon quad coils I would have fallen down laughing. I thought people like that were obsessive compulsive lunatics with no life and way too much time on their hands...

I have a horse named Reuben Bean who's always called Ruby Roo. :) Welcome to ECF, cjones.

    should I try Ahlusion again?

I think they're okay; not mind-bending by any means. As Cardiwen wisely points out, there are tons of really great venders around today, and new ones appear constantly. If I was looking to branch out I'd try something new and exciting, for sure.

Do all of these people really make their own coils?

I make my own coils and really enjoy it. It's about a million times easier than it looks, and is actually quite gratifying once you can do it well and quickly. At this point I can easily do 4 or 5 complete builds, including dual micro-coils (sounds fancy, right?) in well under half an hour - and...

I got the Vaping juice blues

Y'know, if you've only been vaping for a few months, it might well be your tastebuds. Or it might be a tank system that mutes flavor excessively. I've found the Vapor Room's juices to be very bold and simple - so bold, in fact, that they're really too strong now. Have you considered a dripping...

Why Do I Have to Steep Juice?

I myself keep everything in glass because I'm old school and don't like the idea of plastic leaching into eliquid or food, but not everyone agrees on this point. I don't know of any actual studies done on eliquid, so I guess it's a judgment call. Most people do agree that citrus and cinnamon...

Why Do I Have to Steep Juice?

Yes, it does. You can put a light colored liquid into a cupboard without ever opening it, shaking it, or even glancing at it, and it will still darken in color and mellow in flavor over time. (Which is not to say that it'll automatically taste fantastic in two months. If crap went in at the...

Why Do I Have to Steep Juice?

That may well be, but I don't see what that has to do with letting things sit. These two things are done for entirely different reasons. Let's say I put up a batch of cordial or chutney, okay? (I live on a farm, and actually do this kinda thing every year.) It's true that the ingredients...

    Youtube...who do you trust

Yep. It's a wonder anybody bothers making or watching juice reviews. I might as well publish a YouTube channel reviewing breakfast cereals. But I honestly can't imagine how I'd cope with the ever-changing world of rebuildables without the reviewers and their tutorials. This stuff doesn't come...

Why Do I Have to Steep Juice?

Nnnnno, I don't think so, Skoony. I think you could shake till your arm went numb, and it wouldn't do much of anything. People who do a lot of old fashioned cooking and traditional food prep realize that lots of things - beef, game, fruitcakes, cordials, chutneys, jams and cheeses, for...

    Youtube...who do you trust

I think it also depends on what you want the reviews for. I think Grimm Green is great for newbies, and PBusardo is great for people who don't like to fuss with stuff. Todd is great if you get a lot of satisfaction out of tinkering with things and making them better, which I do myself...

    Youtube...who do you trust

Todd, all the way. I like the dog, I like the shed, and I like the fact that he actually knows how to focus a close-up so you can see what he's doing. His builds are straightforward and work beautifully each and every time. And - if all that isn't enough - his accent is totally adorable...
