The gullible consumer generation. Can you honestly say you're not part of this?

Who the hell said that? I'm simply reminding people that the rivers of disposable junk we consume are so cheap and so ubiquitous because the people who produce them are paid practically nothing. That's how globalized consumer capitalism works. And if the workers of Bangladesh do manage to...

The gullible consumer generation. Can you honestly say you're not part of this?

LOL. I didn't say a word about governments, Comrade. ;)

The gullible consumer generation. Can you honestly say you're not part of this?

This is true. Yet billions of the world's people live in abject poverty while producing mountains of this crap, only to have their products briefly used and instantly discarded by the eternally dissatisfied few. Garbage piles up as resources are exhausted, and still people talk about "growth"...

The gullible consumer generation. Can you honestly say you're not part of this?

I agree with this. However, I think the very nature of consumer capitalism makes it very difficult for many people to escape this trap. If a person is schooled, from earliest childhood, to believe that things, rather than actions, are what determine human worth, then that person is very...

The gullible consumer generation. Can you honestly say you're not part of this?

Well, Americans didn't just wake up one morning and decide to toss common sense in order to be shallow and witless for ever after. It took decades upon decades of pro-consumption propaganda to make them that way. But wages and benefits are going down fast, and people can't carry a lot...

    No flavor!!!

I'm sorry. :( But I know what you mean. Have you tried minty or spicy flavors - like spearmint or gingerbread or cinnamon, maybe? A lot of people seem to like those, and they might help while away the time while your taste buds recover.

If money wasnt an issue, which would you?

Holy cats. That is just magnificent.

    No flavor!!!

I'm sure you don't really want to hear this, OP, but I'll say it anyway: It wasn't till I'd been cig free for about 9 months that I really started to taste juices fully. Before that it was just hints of flavor here and there - very frustrating! My advice to you is to try dripping, which is...

    Best Coffee E-Liquid???

I like it a lot, but I like it even better mixed into something plain like dark chocolate or plain coffee. But then, I really enjoy flavor mixing in general - it's like one of those desert buffets where you try a bit of this and a bite of that . . . :) That's also one of the reasons a...

    Best Coffee E-Liquid???

Just digging into a bottle of Virgin Vapors Double Espresso, aged about a week, which I'm really tasting for the first time. I wasn't hugely impressed until I added a couple of drops of Kona Velvet Milkshake. It is now kick-... great! :)

    I Must State This

At this point I think we've both made our points on counterfeiting several times over, so I'll refrain from repeating myself. You're no doubt a good guy, Arnie - I just happen to think you're wrong on this. Bangladesh is another matter, though: Say it, Comrade! :toast: On this we agree.

Mixing juices from different vendors: list your success stories here

I mix flavors all the time - it's easy with dripping atties. Right this minute I'm vaping Virgin Vapor's Strawberry Shortcake with Highbrow's Dark Chocolate. Chocolate covered strawberry exactly. :) I also regularly mix Highbrow Cheesecake Torte with . . . well, anything. I actually buy it...

    I Must State This

I never mentioned China particularly. I was talking about American clothing companies (Nike being the most famous of these) that outsource to places like Bangladesh and pay exhausted workers 2 bucks a day. I brought this up simply because clothing is one of the most frequently boycotted...

    I Must State This

Honestly, Arnie I don't think that's at all fair. I think ordinary people make consumer choices based on ethical principles every day of the week - they just don't talk about it unless the topic happens to come up. I know, for example, that plenty of people (like me) refuse to buy factory...

    Liquid is insanely expensive.

Well, I am the poster s/he responded to, and I don't understand all this crazy, over-the-top hyperbole either. (It probably costs 67 cents to produce a box of Oreo cookies. Are people who buy them the broken, powerless victims of unspeakable crime? Good gravy.) It just doesn't make any sense...

    Liquid is insanely expensive.

I don't get it either. There are cheap options galore. Maybe this is just one more example of lousy economic times bringing out the worst in people. It's like those complaining simply can't stand the idea that somebody else might be making a decent living or paying their workers a living wage...

:thumb: I've ordered two clones without markings, and both times I've made a note in the Comments box, thanking the vender for carrying the logo-free version. Honestly, I think the vaping world is still small enough that individual efforts make a difference.

Seeking Advice on Best Personal Vaporizer - money is no object

Thank you! I just Googled Kato, and it turns out that they make all kinds of beautiful wee box mods - all apparently gorgeously crafted. They really are lovely. I couldn't find anything in English, though. Do you know anything more about them, DrillRX? And do thy really cost 3,000 bucks? I'm...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

I'm sure it is. But you're talking to a person who's feeling incredibly proud of herself because she figured out how to improve the crappy switch on the #8 by sticking half of a ballpoint pen spring into it. Just saying. ;)
