New Member, First Post, and a question!

Greetings, New Comrade. Welcome to the forum! :) I'm afraid I don't know a thing about the Kamry, but I recommend the IGO-L as a first RDA to pretty much everybody. Here's one for ten bucks: IGO-L Dripper Atomizer It's cheap, works very well, and is ridiculously easy to build. I...

    Help please...new vaper struggling

Great advice here. :) And you know, having a cigarette - or, more likely, a few puffs of a cigarette - won't kill you. I kept a pack in a drawer for months after I started vaping, "just in case," and this turned out to be a very useful thing. I'd allow myself a puff or two every few...

Throat feels like it is closing

Whoa. That does not sound good. I've never experienced exactly what you describe, but I do get a very stuffed-up nose every time I go over 40 or 50% VG. Other folks have reported a "heavy" feeling in their chests. Clearly, there are people who are sensitive to VG, just as there are people who...

Heavy smokers seem to have an easier time quitting for good?

Yeah, I guess you're right. They're probably reading all those forums where ex-vapers tell how much better they feel now that they're sucking up a whole pack of Pall Malls before breakfast.

Heavy smokers seem to have an easier time quitting for good?

What a great thread! So many of these stories are genuinely moving. You gotta wonder what the ANTZ would say about the real life experiences of all these good people . . . perhaps it would make them stop and think for once in their lives.

    Conspiracy Surrounding the Manhattan?

I believe General Motors is hiring. :)

NEW RBA for a NEW USER

A ProVari is a regulated device, which means you can't run at very low resistances. I've never had one, so I don't know it's limit - you might ask in the ProVari forum. In any event, you can check out the relationship between wire thickness, wraps and resistance here: Coil wrapping | Steam...

NEW RBA for a NEW USER

Or, if s/he's really dead set on starting with a tank, s/he could try something super-simple like the AGA T2, and build it with cotton instead of mesh. (This is as easy as pot pie.) That way s/he could build and wick on the big ol' deck, then saturate the coil and test it without having to fill...

NEW RBA for a NEW USER

I agree with Porkchop Express (awesome name!) and Be Right. The IGO L is awesomely easy to build, and a very good value for money. After that, I'd recommend any uncomplicated 22mm dripper without a lot of extra features and wiggly bits. What you're looking for is a big deck to build on, and...

    Rebuildable Tank question

There are gaqzillions of tanks to choose from, OP. Do you want to rebuild with cotton or mesh? How much do you want to spend? How about the mod(s) you plan to use it on? More info would help people give you genuinely helpful advice.

    Youtube Reviewers, Who's your favorite?

Todd's my favorite. His up-close stuff is very pro, and he clearly has a great deal of experience with a very wide range of gear. He also seems like a low key, likeable guy, which is nice. There's no screaming and no singing on his channel, and that's a major plus in my book. Igetcha69...

People are too easily manipulated, even in this community.

Maybe that's it. Or maybe he's just a disgruntled mod maker who got dissed on Safer Vapers. The internet's a funny place.

People are too easily manipulated, even in this community.

I'm quite sure my namesake would rather see independent local artisans producing original mods for a fair price, than see Mexican wage slaves producing cheap copies for pennies a day. But that's hardly the point. I'm simply trying to figure out exactly what the OP is driving at here. Thus far...

People are too easily manipulated, even in this community.

I don't understand. How could encouraging people to join CASAA have a "negative effect on the modding community"? Or, for that matter, how could inspiring people to buy more original/authentic mods have a "negative effect"? If it's the modders themselves you're worried about, then surely...

    Excellent points all around. :)

People are too easily manipulated, even in this community.

I'm sure they do get stuff to keep, but I certainly don't begrudge it to them. They're under no obligation to work for free, after all. I know that Todd donates a lot of gear to charity auctions, which I think is lovely. I have no idea about the others, but I hardly think they're raking in...

People are too easily manipulated, even in this community.

So what's preventing the designers of these marvelous gadgets from mailing one to Todd or Grimm or Ruby Roo? What's preventing them from making videos of their own? This is a very small world we're talking about, and it's not like anybody has to compete with General Motors.

People are too easily manipulated, even in this community.

Well, maybe. I just can't imagine why folks sound so defensive about listening to the opinions of reviewers. I always check the reviews before buying something, and I certainly don't feel "manipulated". I mean, really: how else - unless one's lucky enough to have an incredibly well-stocked...

Why is e-liquid selling at such high prices ?

Yes, exactly. The eliquid market is essentially the Wild, Wild West - in other words, a Right Libertarian paradise. Capitalism in its purest, most untrammeled form. Free market nirvana! But anybody who actually supports this market must be a "price gouging" "con man" in real life...
