I've never heard of a passthrough frying a USB port before. I use my USB ports on my laptop to charge pretty much everything (normal eGo's, eGo VV's, KR808's, smartphone) I've heard of external HD's blowing the protection and shorting out the USB before, but those were due to faults in wires...- encee_rz
