    Very carefully, with lots of aspirin. Those things are such a pain to clean. All I can really recommend is don't take it apart if you don't have a backup, or if you don't really know what you're doing. And DON'T dry burn, the atty will just end up tasting horrible.

    The one I got worked great right out of the wrapping, however as I've found, not all cartomizers are created equally and YMMV. I did however let it sit for 5-10 minutes before I started in on it, as you should with any other carto with the string wicks (ce2, ce3, etc)
