    I understand the gauges and stuff but what I mean is for example if I have 3 cm of wire and coil 4 coils on my wick or coil 6 coils on my wick the resistance is still the same right? It's just that it covers more surface.

    So can I say it's not the number of coils that matter it's the length of the resistance wire that matters right? Longer means can coil more rounds but doesn't affect the rating at all right?
