    How do you guys get the coils to touch and stay together? Im using 30g kanthal around a 1.4 mm screwdriver, as well as the hex key that came with my chobra, but no matter how tight I wrap it ends up looking a spring.

    Here's a pic of first attempt. What's the benefit of micro? Does it eliminate hotspots or possibly of short? I don't have any cotton around except for cotton pads. Can I use 2mm ekowool + micro coils? I have 30g and 32g kanthal. Which would be better for micro coils? Thanks.

    Is it true that Kanger is phasing out the evod coils? (instead using the Protanks)

    I have both the original evod heads and the clones from china and I can't tell the difference between them. I use the heads briefly and rebuild them once they start to lose flavor.

    30g kanthal + 400 mesh. First attempt. Don't have a torch at the moment (the one I ordered from FastTech was DOA) so i had to oxidize the mesh using a lighter + pg. I can barely vape this. The throat hit is too strong. I'm worried I'm vaping metal at this point? I also tried wrapping cotton pad...

    Burnt Taste

    ...did you try using a replacement coil? oddly enough i've been getting that burnt taste with my evods often these days. i always just change the coils or rebuild but this thread has me thinking it might actually be the evod itself.
