^^^+1 Airflow is probably the biggest factor, but also if your coils are spaced too far apart from each other that will affect flavor also...unless you've wrapped a micro or nano coil. If that's the case then it's gotta be airflow. Edit:another thought is what device are you using these on... -

Mowgli, I would suspect that the coils might be wrapped to tight before too loose. I've wrapped some pretty loose coils and they never tasted burnt yet. The coils should just be touching the silica. Burnt flavor usually indicates a hot spot or there isn't enough juice on the coils. You... -
