    Kanger vs IClear 16

While I do use and like the iClears, cost of ownership is another matter. Because of the dual coils, replacement coils are pricey and rebuilding is not an option. Evod/Pro Tank coils are cheap to buy, but even a noob like me can easily rebuild them and really save money. That is not to say...

    New innokin 134 mod

I dunno...yes, one would stand out in a crowd, but that is still a lot of dinero for a feature-limited mod. It should be priced well below the SVD based on functionality. I thought that Innokin learned something from the silly magnetic connector that came out on the original iTaste vv. Cooling...

    How to avoid burning wick?

Thanks, but nah, I'm a relative newbie. I do vape a lot though, so I had to learn a few things. Most of it is when I want to fix something, or try something new, I read up a lot and ask a lot of questions.

    New innokin 134 mod

Well...U.S. Army retired here, so I guess that I am "masculine" enough, but to me? It plain out looks silly. Feature-short and bling over-rich. My $46 SID offers far better vaping features for a third of the price, and is much more comfortable to hold. I chain vape at times, and heat is no...

    Innokin iTaste VV/VW V3.0

Got my iTaste 3.0 in black, along with iClear 16s. While they are pretty darn good, I really like the iTaste with evods...great combo. For whoever asked, of course it is a "one and done" battery, not replaceable, and my only unanswered question will be longevity. Aside of that, it does...

Help me choose a new VV

Hate to admit it, but I never looked at the warranty! The iTaste 3.0 is a much more feature-rich eGo vv sized option however. At no longer than a 900mah twist, you get vv/vw/battery charge/resistance checker/and even puff counter (don't need that). Add in the fact that it is pass through...

Someone called the police on me!!!

I get a few looks...nothing more, and CT isn't exactly the vaping capital of the US. In fact, none of my co-workers are smokers, and they suprisingly got comfortable with my vaping around them as soon as they realized it wasn't tobacco smoke. My approach is to be polite and considerate, but...

    So...about that "going slow" thing...

As long as the price tag didn't faze you, nothing at all wrong going with the Provari. While I personally do like the Pro Tank, it is a decidedly airy draw, and not all are fans of this. It will give you a cool draw with lots of vapor and good flavor. There are plenty of devices that vape well...

    Volts, ohms, wattage

If I mainly vaped one type of ejuice, then a mechanical mod and RBA would be my choice. Recoil to my prefered resistance, and good to go! However, where vv/vw shines is that not all ejuices vape equally well at a given voltage, and thinner/thicker ejuices can work well in one style tank better...

Which mod are you vaping with right now?

Smoktech SID with Kanger Pro Tanks and iClear 30s

    Kanger vs IClear 16

Keep in mind that the iClear 16 is a dual coil clearo with around 1.8ohm resistance, whereas the Kanger evod/protank comes stock with a 2.5ohm coil unless specified otherwise. In a normal unregulated (non vv) eGo, that naturally will give the iClear a very big advantage on hit over the evod...

Bot my VAMO v3 and everything tastes nasty!

IMHO, CE4 clearos are not very tolerant of higher voltage, and really perform best around 3.7 volts and below, useable, but not the best option for the Vamo. I do have some Vivi Novas which work well on my mod, but even so, I seldom run them much above 4.0 volts. unless I am using a 2.4 or...

Question from a sort of new guy...

I have heard nothing about leakage issues, but would I put one in my pants pocket and sit down? No way. Carrying one around in a jacket pocket, brief case etc., no big woof, but tanks and pants pockets are a disaster waiting to happen. But if you must, there are a plethora of $12 - $15 carto...

    Tribeca!!!!!!!!!!

A good friend of mine is trying to quit smoking, and bought a Triton. Freedom Juice, Longhorn, Turkish Tobacco, and Tribeca simply were not enough "tobacco-like" for him, as he is just looking for a cigarette-flavor (not untypical for first-time vapers). Finally, he has found Prime 15 to be...

Amen boardopboy! To me, Voodoo fits more under the "Gourmet" category than "Tobacco".

    How to avoid burning wick?

There will almost always be a little burned/discolored area on the wick where it meets the coil. When I clean out a tank, I take the top loose wick off and gently rub the discolored area between my fingers under running warm water, and that gets rid of any build up. Generally, I get well over a...

    UN-Official Halo Chat Thread!

I think that the tobacco base gives Voodoo its depth/body, but to me this is more of a fruit-flavor than tobacco. I bet though that descriptions of Voodoo's flavor will be all over the map, especially when vaped at different voltages.

    triton question

Cinamon, liccorice, and strong citrus flavors. That is not to say that you will have any issues with ejuice flavors that have some citrus or cinamon. I vape a couple of different pina colada blends (including Malibu) and have never had a problem, or for example Voodoo, which has a little...

"e-cig the second chance" and an introduction to the community

The iTaste 3.0 works just great, I have one and am very pleased with it. The Evods are my favorite clearomizer to use on it.Mine came with iClear 16 dual coil clearos, and they are not bad at all either...just prefer the evod. Also, as the iClears are dual coil, they tend to run through battery...
