I have the SID and absolutely love it. I don't think that Smoktech wants to take sales away from the Zmax, so they certainly would not want to promote is as heavily...I don't view that as a big deal. As a customer, I naturally would rather not pay return postage on a defective product...however, it is only a few bucks, on a $60 mod? Okay. Here is an 808 to eGo connector. Won't do you any good for the Triton tanks, but will work for eGo treaded clearos and tanks 808 to Ego Adapter - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes -

Good response JR! Also, keep in mind though certainly not a "pretty" solution there are a good many clearos/tanks that can be used on the DAV with a 510 to 808 thread adapter. Also if you can find an eGo to 808 adapter (don't know if they are around or not) then you could even use eGo threaded... -
