Halo Triton Tanks
Nailz, the Triton tank is notcompatible wit the DAV battery. The Triton tank uses the outside Triton/vGo threading only, not the 808D, and there are no adapters that will convert vGo treading to 808D. I understand the confusion as both the DAV and Triton batteries have 808 threading, however... -

I use isopryl alcohol on both battery threads and the tank threads as well. -

The Halo Triton is a good quality system, however, it is not eGo compatible. The Triton is based on a variant of the eGo, called a vGo battery. Same basic battery but the threading is 808/vGo versus 510/eGo so if you are looking for eGo compatibility this isn't it. As a stand alone system, or...- PeteC2

Holy Malibu!
Menthol is not my thing and I tried a sample bottle of Malibu on a whim...several 30ml bottles later...it is in my regular rotation! Tells me that I have to keep an open mind as to what I will like...never know till I try! Malibu is one fine flavor! -

Halo Triton - Plastic tank compatible with all fluids?
There are no pyrex glass tanks that are threaded for the Triton battery. You could of course get a 510 to 808 thread adapter, though it won't be a nice "look" and use 510 threaded clearomizers. Most pyrex tanks will cost you a bit, certainly more than the Triton tanks. The Triton tanks are... -
Mini tanks and cones question
OK, I used a round file to gently file the inside of the cone top out a bit and it worksed fine. Now I can use the cone with the mini tanks well, and it did not at all disfigure the cone appearance. Well worth doing. -
Triton cones
The cone that comes with the Triton kit is the large cone. If you want a cone to use with cartomizers however, the short cone is the better choice. The large cone leaves too little cartomizer sticking out and makes it useable but a bit awkward. -
Mini tanks and cones question
I am going to try gently filing out one of my cones. I so would like to use a cone with my mini tanks both for appearance but also for more secure portability. I'll let folks know how it goes for me. (In case anyone is interested) -

Feelings on Cartomizers
I'm with you on that. Although the Triton tanks are both sturdy and very reliable in terms of not leaking, sometimes a cartomizer just does the trick better in a "throw around" situation. -

SmokTech SID?
EH IMR button top (or flat top) fit the SID perfect. They are what I use daily. -
G6 Mini-tank
Although I don't have much trouble with them, I have on occasion had a little ejuice escape to the mouthpiece...especially if I fill them a bit past the top marking. For such a small tank, they are pretty decent, but not as "goof-proof" as the larger Triton tanks. Most of the mini clearomizers... -

I would have recommended an eGo twist & clearomizer as an option, but I think that the iTaste 3.0 brings an awful lot of flexibility without sacrificing simplicity to the table. Is Variable Voltage really that useful or is it overrated?
Another reason for going with vv/vw type batteries/mods: Power regulation. That simple 4.2 volt (or whatever) battery is not going to keep a steady voltage as the charge wanes. While I do still use smaller eGo (actually Triton) batteries, a freshly charged battery loses voltage output...- PeteC2
