Not at all, the 2.6 - 2.8 will work just fine...and in some cases be more ideal for a given ejuice. Remember, standard cartos are around 3.0 ohms as it is. Based on your post, I think that trying the higher resistance coil is a good idea, in fact. -

Yes, it has nothing to do with the battery voltage. The threading on the Triton tank is not the inside 808 (G6 compatible) threads, but uses the outer Halo/vGo threads of the Triton battery which are not on a smaller G6 battery. Your ejuice consumption on a Triton tank won't be anywhere as... -

Yep, and I never said that I LIKE waiting for an ejuice to steep, patience is not my strong suit! I too would love to see Halo come out with some sweet vapes/desert style vapes! For whatever reason though, the ejuices that seem to need the most steeping are the tobacco blends! -

Not at all. As long as it produces 5 volts at .500a (or 500ma) or more, you are fine. I use several different usb "wall-warts" with my ecig batteries and they all do just fine. It is the Triton usb charger that is critical, so since you ordered it, you'll be fine. -

I saw that JR, but the description is a bit misleading. It does not convert the vGo outer threads to 510 threading...it is simply a 510 to 808 converter. Keep in mind that the Triton tank does not use the inner 808 threads, only the outer vGo threads, so that would not work with a Triton tank... -

Actually I applaud Halo for being uber-cautious before releasing new gear. Letting authorized re-sellers introduce them allows a wide sample of users which if there turned out to be a glaring issue for any reason, Halo could re-calibrate before releasing en masse. Did I find any issues? No...
