    itaste VTR

I recently bought the VTR and feel that it was money well-spent. Yes, it is big...yes it is heavy, but because of the far superior fire button and its better placement, I actually find it more comfortable than my MVP 2.0. I've had no issues with ohm reading or performance, it has the amps to...

    Innokin VTR?

$90.01 at KokoVapes until the end of October with 13% off and an extra 10% coupon code available, and that includes free priority USPS shipping, which is where I got mine. Its certainly beastly big, and some will love it, others not so much, but it is constructed nicely, with a great fire...

    iClear30s+ my eVic = Awesome

I like iClear 30's however I have mods that they do better on due to the Evic's fairly low amp limitations. At 5 volts, it probably in reality is hitting 4.5 or so tops...still plenty enough though. However, if they are rocking it for you, then that is all that counts!

Variable Voltage vs. Variable Wattage (my first mod)

Good response on the difference between using variable voltage or watts settings. As far as the tanks? They are more similar than not in performance although I prefer the Kanger Pro Tank 2 b a small margin. They both have pretty similar vaping characteristics so I doubt that a given ejuice...

    Pulled the trigger...

As others have said, the evod kit is a fine starting point. It is head and shoulders above the blu, Njoy, and other dinky ecigs but still easy to work with, and not overly large. For many vapers this may be all they ever want/need, but even should you go on to something else, this remains a...

New Member in Colorado, want an e-pipe!

There are any number of different e-pipes that are available, some very mechanical-metallic, such as the Smok e-pipe, others more along the lines of an organic/wood style pipe, such as the Totally Wicked e-pipe that I have, which is more along the lines of a traditional pipe. Which type is...

SID head from madvapes/anyone want to buy a v1 head

The SID control head does work with the Evic tubes, but you will want to use button top batteries with that set up. The Evic top collar will not work with the SID control head however.

    I finally picked one up

Voltage or wattage mode is a matter of preference. Since the Evic does watts in .1 increments though, just as with volts, watts mode is more convenient. Good mod, hope you enjoy it!

    inconsistent ohm readings

Actually, coil resistance does change both up and down throughout usage. Keep in mind that the amount of ejuice and sediment in it will affect the resistance at any point in time. In usage, I find that darker ejuices which contain more particulate matter affect the resistance readings to a...

    Kanger T2 on triton???

It is hit and mioss as some will manage to fot well enough to use, but keep in mind because they are 510/eGo threaded, the post from the tank that makes connection to the battery post is much longer, and it is all too easy to over-tighten and push down your Triton battery's center post, ruining...

    Another, "It's Finally Here!!!!!"

Enjoy Seapup! I got mine in black, but those iridescence batteries look sharp! Agree with jefsview & BigBen, proper tank maintanence will keep your Triton operating right and keep that great vaping experience! In months of very heavy vaping I have yet to need to replace a tank...outside of...

Halo Triton - Dim Battery Light Issue

Yes, I second that, sounds like a defect that needs replacing. Halo's Triton batteries are top-notch, but no ecig batteries are not without the occasional dud. I think that you performed due diligence in establishing that this was not a matter of condensation, or a tank-related issue.

Bigger bottles of juice anytime soon?

Not at all knocking your request AngieBe, but its funny how we all have our preferences. As fast as I go through 30ml bottles, I'd actually like the option to buy them in plastic bottles as they are more convenient than using the dropper for refilling my tanks, especially in terms of getting...

    It's Finally Here!!!!!

Congrats on making the move to quit smoking! The G6 is a really good ecig, and Halo flavors are top of the line. You might also consider picking up a pack of Halo's LR (Low Resistance) cartomizers. They pack a bigger "punch".

    Really considering the eVic

I think that the Evic is a good choice, but not the best carrying device. I have several mods, but for "out and about" vaping I use the Triton or iTaste 3.0 as they givesa quality vape in a more portable configuration. I work in an office environment punctuated by occasional travel. Sticking...

Anyone know when to expect 1.5 update?

Much ado about nothing. As it is, the Evic is the only vw mod I have, or know of that has .1 watt stepping This is after all vaping, not pin-point critical stuff. If the vape is too light, I dial it up, if too strong, dial it down. There's a whole world of vapers out there content with...

    Second hand vapor?

While not "inert", clearly vapor from an ecig dissipates far differently than smoke. I can vape all day in my home office, yet it has no residual odor/scent whatsoever, nor is their any build up residue on walls/furniture/drapes, etc. Not at all pretending any scientific proof, but short of...

    Mvp1vsmvp2

Right now, purchasing anything using li-on batteries will incur at the minimum a shipping delay from China. The MVP 1 is a fine box mod, however the additions/refinements in the MVP 2 while subtle (except for the variable wattage and ohm detection) are worth it.

Newbie Impressions: G6, Mini Tanks, Triton, Batteries and Nicotine Levels

Nice thread and appreciate you sharing your experiences. I almost always hit the button a second before drawing, and find that after a very short time, you instinctively find the best technique for your tastes. For that reason I definitely recommend the manual batteries over automatic...

Anything new in the works for Halo?

I do have a "wish list" for new products: 1. A bottom coil tank option for the Triton (Not that I do not like the current Triton Tank!) 2. The oft-hinted at Triton pass-through battery 3. A Triton carry-case. Love the box it comes in, but something rounded and smaller for daily carry. 4...
