    2.6 - 2.8 ohms

There is no "right" resistance that you have to use with the variable voltage battery. The reason that 3.0 ohms is recommended is simply that you have more play at the upper end of the voltage setting, but I use the Triton vv with the stock 2.2 - 2.4 Triton tanks just fine. As far as the 2.6 -...

    Shame on you Halo!!

Nonsense. We are not talking about a reseller carrying multiple lines of products, we are talking about a product manufacturer. To imagine that a company is going to post a "Don't buy their product" rant (not really a "review") at the site that markets that product is unrealistic. That you...

    Could I use these batteries?

Eh...they should work alright, but the question becomes do I want to put one in my $100 mod? Personally, any ridiculously rated battery causes me immediate mistrust. 4000 mah in an 18650 battery? No way. It would have to be some heretofore unheard of formulation to store that level in this...

    Need a good charger

Your eGo usb charger is a 420 milliamp, 4.2 volt charger as are all eGo usb chargers. You are looking for a usb wall charger, right? All of these usb "wall-warts" have an output of 5 volts, and range from .5amp (500 milliamp, and the most commonly found) up to 2 amp. The only real advantage...

    eGo-C Twist

The "Wizard" is wise...go and re-read his post...at least twice! IMHO there is no better eGo-sized battery than the iTaste 3.0. For a few bucks more you will have a better vaping solution. If you are going to go for an eGo twist type battery, any of the decent quality brands will do equally...

Halo triton to Kanger ProTank 2

I seldom use cartos anymore even in public. I have no issues with my Triton battery/tank, and at work often take my MVP box mod...but everyone at work knows me so its no big woof. Got to educate 'em one at a time!

    Halo VV???

AngiBe, I don't know about any plans either way on vv battery color plans. As far as is the Triton vv worth it? I my opinion, absolutely! Not only can you fine-tune your vape to your best taste, but also, becasue this is a regulated battery, it will not drop off very much (They do lose just a...

    Tanks for the eVic

The best response here. I've tried most of the popular tanks and clearos and truth to tell though I like the Pro Tank 2, there is no tank or clearo without flaws, and for that matter some ejuices vape better to me in a top coil clearo, some in a bottom coil clearo. Rather than buy a slew on...

    Tanks for the eVic

Protanks are great for citrus flavors and the tank goes well with the Evic. As typical with a bottom coil tank, the vape will be on the cool side. If you prefer a warmer vape, I find the iClear 30 is a good match with the Evic, keeping in mind as it is a typical poly carbonate body, tank-cracker...

    UN-Official Halo Chat Thread!

Same here! I have an Evic, SID, and MVP, and like all of them, but the Triton tank gives me a unique, warm vape that I never get tired of.

Tribeca is my go to ejuice...but I do not equate it to a RY4 at all.

Made my Labor Day order...Tribeca and Turkish Tobacco.

    Protank2 on the eVic

My PT2 does not exhibit any air flow restriction on my Evic. Vapes the same as on my SID and MVP.

    firmware 1.4 is out!

True enough...I don't use the puff counter anyway. Much prefer the watts/volts on my screen. Same goes for the length of puff countdown...I puff until satisfied...don't need a display to tell me that, but I don't knock that they give folks choices.

Modifying Triton cone to fit the mini tank

I just used a small round file and filed the top a bit from the inside. Fits all my mini tanks fine now and no worse for wear or appearance.

    Glass tank for Triton?

There are a number of eGo threaded clearos that "can" work on a Triton battery, but beware! Sine the center post connector on eGo threaded clearos is of course longer than on Triton threaded tanks, it is very easy to depress the Triton battery's center post connector and make it non operational...

    Leaking Kanger evod?

You might try doing this: Remove the base and lift the silicone gasket that is just above the wicks a little bit...NOT enough to slip the bottom of the gasket over the lip of the coil, but there is some play there. Then when you re-screw on the base, you should get a better seal with the air...

    firmware 1.4 is out!

Lame excuse? Sounds more like nit-picking. She gave an explanation as to why they chose to display the puff count that way. Just because you don't agree does not make it an excuse. Not everyone will be happy with the way any display is laid out, but that does not make it "lame". I can read...

    What's your history with Halo?

I started off, like may with blu. The battery life just was not sufficient for the way I wanted to vape, not to mention very short carto life. Looking around, I got on a couple of forums and happened to win a Triton 900mah batt, tank, and charger. Love at first vape! I ordered the Triton kit...

    Triton tank replacement coils

I can tell you that yes, Kanger T2 coils fit and work properly with the Triton tanks. Having said that, unless you can find the T2 long-wick coils, I prefer the Triton replacement coils. For not all that much money when you take into account vaping-time/life of the coil, the long wick Triton...
