Are G6 batteries regulated or unregulated?

kittybite, regualted batteries are those that have a circuit board maintaing the same voltage (whether fixed or variable) throughout the run time of the charge. Unregulated batteries start out at a peak when freshly charged and slowly lessen their output until depleted, normally with a cut-off...

    My new setup = GOOFY!

While you could use a 510/eGo to 808 adapter, that would only add even more length to the connection. They come in handy if you want to use an eGo threaded clearo like an evod. The 510 to 808 adapter is best for 510 tanks.

    Triton Battery on other Tanks

Yep, I got mine elsewhere, but same idea. Works on my Triton. I would recommend the evod 1.8 ohm replacement coils though, to me, the evod's standard 2.5 ohm coils hit a bit light on a standard Triton battery at 3.7 volts. Works fine with my Triton vv twist at 4.3 volts.

Quality control issue with Triton tank tips

I could have been the ejuice, but equally likely the tip was just tight enough that combined with the heat...ka-pow! Although I do not at all consider it a poor design, keep in mind that the Triton tank tip forms a pretty tight seal with the top of the coil. That coil heats up quite a bit over...

    Glass tank for Triton Battery?

MBV, after Halo, is one of my favorite ejuice sites. I vape many of their flavors with the Triton, and they do just fine. If the flavors you want to try are not on their tank-cracker list, you should have no problems at all. MBV is pretty conservative about these by the way, by no means are all...

    Best ohms for non-VV battery?

In general, as most unregulated batteries operate for the most part in the 3.7 volt range, a 2.2 to 2.4 ohm resistance to me is just about right. Of course, some ejuices will taste better at a slightly higher or lower resistance, so it doesn't hurt to have a couple different coils with varying...

Triton tank mouthpice shattered without ever dropping.

Yep, certain ejuices simply have an adverse reaction to the plastic (not us!). BTW, if the tank itself is still intact, it is cheap and easy to order replacement tips for as little as 85 cents a pop. Not hyping any vendor, but I get mine at ecigsplus.com.

    Quick quesion about Malibu...

Yep, a bit of a pink tint to Malibu. Malibu really took me by surprise! I hoped to like it, but did not have huge expectations...now it is one of my summer-time got to haves. One thing that I have noticed about each and every Halo flavor I've tried: While not each flavor is equally pleasing to...

    Halo Triton!

You never of course know what will really work for you without trying it, but IMHO, the difference in "hit" and vapor from the Triton really makes it a more satisfying experience. I managed to quit smoking with the blu ecig, but I struggled all the same. Once I moved to the Triton, it just...

    UN-Official Halo Chat Thread!

From full-out finished, it does take my Triton vv twist about 3 hours to re-charge, but I do not consider that bad at all for a vv twist. Keep in mind, when folks talk about charge time on an eGo vv twist, there are several different mah versions of this, and of course the higher the mah, the...

Bad batch of product, and customer support won't respond.

Yes, no reason that with a 510 to 808 adapter you couldn't use a drip atty on the Triton. In fact, that would somewhat protect getting ejuice on the battery connections. Many folks who drip in fact prefer to use a 510 to 510 thread adapter for that reason.

    PG/VG/Tank Question

If you have both Pro Tanks and iClear 30s, you're covered either way. In general, higher VG blends seem to wick better with a short-wick bottom coil clearo whereas the higher PG ejuices IMHO, do best in a top coil clearomizer. Anything down to 60/40 vapes beautifully in my iClear 30s, but at...

    My journey so far

Senior Boy, great point! Like yourself, I have a few other mods and a bunch of different clearos/tanks. For those not wanting to get all consumed about what works with what, Halo does indeed provide a consistent system that can take you from a cigalike automatic battery/pre-filled cartomizer...

Quality control issue with Triton tank tips

Since I do not "bite down" on the tip, plastic or metal work okay for me. Apparently the rason that the Triton tank tips can fail is that as they heat up from vaping, they can tighten quite a bit, which is why you should screw them on enough to be "snug" but not real tight. I really like how...

Bad batch of product, and customer support won't respond.

I agree on that. Unfortunately in the vaping industry, terminology is all over the place. There is a tendency to use the term "Drip Tip" for any replaceable mouthpiece for a cleaomizer/carto tank/etc., I have frequently seen clearomizer tips, or mouth-pieces referred to as drip tips, when of...

Bad batch of product, and customer support won't respond.

kbd424, you said this "I do admit to using the drip tip that I bought from them, so there was liquid in the battery most likely, though they stated it was flooded, and I know that's not true. I am careful with dripping, so it couldn't have been much. I would love to have seen some proof of that...

    What is up with Turkish?

Same here, but with Halo's increased sales it would not surprise me if the ejuices are coming in a bit on the "fresh" side. A little steeping will usually do even Halo juices a bit of good.
