Yeah I have no idea what is going on. Half a tank (Kv4) on a fresh battery and flash. Unscrewed the cap and screwed it back on and would not respond at all. Put the battery on my LUC and it is reading 3.7v. Reinstalled the battery and my Provari is reading 3.5v.
Ok after replacing one earlier today at almost a full tank I just got the flash about half way through. Prolly 2ml. Tried the unscrewing of the cap and it didn't give much more time at all. Guess these things are toast.
Yeah I was surprised he was running the coil so high. As far as the Tobeco I do agree. He, as a reviewer, should have been more prepared and not given up that easy. Everyone else seems to be able to get hold of the right size o-ring.
As far as the cost you could look at it this way. Still way...
Single coil I highly recommend the Lemo or the Lemo drop. Same build as a Kayfun/Russian, but easier because of a bigger deck. Also has holes in the post to capture the leads if you are so inclined to build that way. Massive airflow and a glass tank too. Can be had for about $32 shipped.
LOL yeah I'm a fanboy. Fanboys don't recommend products now right???
EHPro Kayfun v4 - Not worth the money
That review is posted here, another forum, Reddit and a few FB groups. Even though I am getting the corrected cap I still would not recommend it. Yup I'm a fanboy alright.
Oh so subtle...
Seriously??? Geeze
I'll be the first to admit and I have said it from the get-go I am not a big fan of Tobeco. But with all of the good reviews the Kv4 was getting, I was willing to give them a chance. Until more people started getting them and some issues started coming to light...
I'm not gonna go back and pull posts and reviews that I am come across over the last week. Honestly I have no reason to make it up. Just because you have a perfect Tobeco does not mean that everybody does. I have seen the negative issues. They are out there. You just aren't really looking...
I have read those reviews and really don't know what to make of them. How do these people actually know this for a fact?? In all honesty there really is no way to tell. I guess as long as you get a good quality clone and it works then it really doesn't matter much who made it.
I know I know. Lots of Tobeco love from you. But there are many, many people having issues with the Tobeco. True some of them can be fixed with tinkering or waiting for new o-rings. But most people like to take it out of the box, build and vape. Clean as necessary of course. I just hate to buy...
I've done that before when it was new to get a little extra life when I forgot a spare. I will give it a try again when I get the flash and monitor how much more time I get.
When I put them on charge my LUC reads them a 3.6v - 3.7v.
I did try the full cleaning. Didn't seem to help. Still barely got a tank out of one battery. Maybe I just need to go 18650 on the Provari. I just hate the size.
Infinite Kv4 has been reviewed. Pretty good review. Looks like the Infinite might be the one to beat. I like the way they include the bell cap and an extra spring. Of course Infinite is known for including goodies. Their KFL+ v2 came with the Nano kit for less than the EHPro version cost.

Before getting my EHPro Kv4 they would have been my top choice. But this one is problematic.Outside of the top cap being incorrect, which I addressed in it's own thread, the juice control was seized up and was a PITA to get working. And the base will not come apart at all. It works. But nowhere...
I had planned on using the glass tank. But the juice capacity is the smallest. For me the poly tank is already small enough. And it has the largest capacity.
Pretty much what I did. Dawn soapy soak and scrub > 50% alcohol dunk > rinse. Oily taste. Boiling water soak > 91% alcohol soak > rinse. Then several tanks of a strong "used to be my favorite" juice that I have almost 100ml left of. Taste is finally fading.
