New VIP S.G. Members Introduce Yourself!

Congrats CactusGuy on 6 months. It sounds like a missed a cool meet-up. I'm really looking forward to one on the east side (I'm in east Mesa). Any info on something coming up over here??? I'm at 13 weeks without analogs and MAN am I feeling better. I'm sure the pump overhaul has something to...

Smoktech SID vs Sigelei Zmax v3: first impressions (w/ pics for 18350 tube)

I don't think I'm a dabbler. I change my 1100mAh eGo batt once a day. I don't currently own a mod and if I did, I would not likely take it to a bar. But then, I don't generally go to bars anymore either. Anyway, I'll be waiting with you on an answer to the "smartphone bar" definition.

    vodka or rubbing alcohol?

I only saw one reference to damaging tanks with high proof booze. Will Everclear or 100proof bourbon damage my Evods, iClears or ProTanks? I was considering 101proof Turkey for the job. One for the ProTank, one for me!

    Ego Twist vs. Spinner

Great thread. I'm kind of a noob and I'm still using my fixed power STAM knock-offs. I'm going to upgrade to vv and want to keep a couple of eGo batts around for camping and running around. I'm fond of my lanyards and mobile charge gear. Does the standard eGo lanyard fit the larger spinners?

Smoktech SID vs Sigelei Zmax v3: first impressions (w/ pics for 18350 tube)

Thanks for the post. I've been studying both of these mods along with the VAMO 3 & the LavaTube. I've been really leaning toward the Sigelei but yours is not the first to start misfiring in short order. I may scratch this one off the list, at least until Sigelei gets all its fecal matter in...

New VIP S.G. Members Introduce Yourself!

Hey Y'all, I just stumbled on this sub thread for locals & thought I'd jump in. After 43 years of analogs and motivated by bypass surgery, I quit! It's been 9 weeks since my last analog and I know I couldn't have done it without vaping. I tried my first ones a couple of years ago but they...

    Obligatory noob post

They're "STAM" eGo batteries from MadVapes. I've been over them pretty thoroughly and looked into them online. They are what they are. Thanks for the thought. I'm just gonna pick up a couple of genuine "twist" batteries for when I'm away from home. I like using my lanyard and they're simple and...

I forgot to mention that I've found some great juices. I finally found one that actually tastes a lot like tobacco and decided I don't like it (oh, the irony). I'm only going through about 30 to 40ml a month and only at 6mg/ml nicotine. Ultimately, that means I'm saving about 75% over the cost...

    Obligatory noob post

I thought I'd post an update here for those of you who were so helpful and encouraging when I first arrived. Today marks 8 full weeks without analogs. Even though I was seriously doped up and on the patch, that still makes over 6 weeks since my last cigarette, after about 43 years of smoking...

    Obligatory noob post

Thanks to everyone for the replies. My new gear arrived yesterday afternoon. It appears I was mistaken about the batteries. They're listed as eGo 1100mAh but NOT twist. They're not adjustable. After charging the batteries, filling and assembling, my first attempt was successful. I got lots of...

    Lets Get This Straight!

We all breathe amniotic fluid in the womb. Breathing vapor is relative. I see where you live and I'm familiar with summers there. 90% humidity IS breathing vapor, especially compared to the Arizona desert floor at 10% or less. According to my doctors, the miniscule amount of benign contaminants...

    Obligatory noob post

Hi all, I've been lurking here for a few days and decided to wade in. After several medical recommendations, I've been using my ecig (fifty-One Duo) from a couple of years ago to quit analog cigs for good. It's working this time. I believe it's working for several reasons. First, I was without...
