    Flashlight? No really.

I've searched and found lots of threads related to the old days of modifying flashlights into APVs but I would like to have a flashlight head with a 510 connection that supports variable output like VV. I have a few mods and having a flashlight head with a CREE LED and variable voltage support...

    The big 2.5 letdown

I certainly think that would give a better grip but I'm not too keen on the look. I wonder why they didn't take the opportunity to slip in an OLED or at the minimum a 12 segment display would have been great. OLEDs are super tough and likely more resilient than the segmented display they use...

Soon a AVP with VW in a non-tube style design?

Must have missed the Vapros V1. I see the Smok has the Groove so maybe that's a better device with the proper functions.

Soon a AVP with VW in a non-tube style design?

I saw this come up while poking around and I like the form factor. The display may be a bit overkill but still it is nice to see something in a different form factor will be around soon. Cijoy Brand 2800Mah in a palm/box/phone form factor: Cijoy Brand,2800mah Zmax Variable Voltage And...

VAMO Owners - Pics, Tips, Tricks and Quirks

I'm considering disassembling my VAMO to add a screen mask to the display. I don't know why they didn't do it to begin with but I think it would look better than having the back light leaking around and out the display bezel.

What does this mean when a VAMO...

I would have suggested that the 510 center post had been pushed down too far for whatever reason but you have pulled that back up. As Kiwi said, it isn't likely that your spring is at fault since the device is power on and functioning otherwise. You may have a broken wire to the 510 which may...

Why .5 increments? I like to fine tune.

The SS version is solid as a tank. It is sort of plain and I found using valve lapping or car paint compound to do wonders for the threads. I suppose I could complain the threading isn't buttery smooth when I got it but I spent 10-15 minutes and they were sweet. The batteries may rattle but...

Why .5 increments? I like to fine tune.

EricHill78, I can tell you that my SS VAMO is almost exactly 4 inches in 18350 mode and I find it easy to cover the entire device in one hand. It is also easy to stow and go which is why I wanted it too. I considered a telescope with kick too. They may be shorter and I can't say. I do...

First the VAMO - Now the Anyvape!

As with so many things in the vape world, I think having both options is a good thing even though RMS should be standard. There are some hothead vapers that love the vavg mode because they can hit those high power levels. I don't need it but I can see the option being a selling point for some.

WARNING for Vamo SS users...PLEASE READ!

I have an SS VAMO and haven't had a problem with the spring getting even warm. When I get a chance I'll put my meter on it and test the resistance. Has anyone tested the resistance on any springs to get base line numbers?

    The big 2.5 letdown

So, will they let you upgrade your Provari 1.0 or 2.0 to a 2.5 for 20 bucks?

Which one to buy and who has the best price

Second the vote on the Vamo. For roughly 50USD you get a very good deal on a VW/VV device. I have the SS edition and it is super solid.

    Xtar charger?

I use Jetbeam NiteCore IntelliCharge i4 - 2nd generation which is 4 bays and has slide adjusters. It charges all of my batteries, 18650, 18350, etc great. It also doesn't seem to have a problem with flat or button top. I'd highly recommend it and its roughly 30 bucks on Amazon.

    Got to Start Somewhere :-)

Wow, that's a heck of a story. I'd never heard of anyone breaking ribs coughing. Hope your vaping adventure is a good one!

Is the current ProVari still THE Go To APV?

I think you'd do fine with a Provari if you only want a solid VV device. I don't know what you screw onto your devices but that's also something to consider. I love VW and there are some solid options on the market with more on the way. My guess is that most APVs will have the VW option by...

    How many people have you

I have two that just started. I answer questions and let people try it if they ask but don't push anything on folks. If they are curious and want to know and show interest then I'll provide the information and suggestions. I will recommend the Njoy King to try things out.

Heavy Smoker looking to Quit. Newbie.

Welcome! We are about the same age and I had smoked about as long as you. Vaping has gotten me completely off of cigarettes. I haven't found a juice that goes great with drinking though. I have some that aren't too bad. Good luck with your adventure!

    The Vamo.

SS is lighter than the chrome coated brass. If the SS VAMO is made to the same specs for wall thickness etc then it would be lighter than the chrome covered brass.

    Vamo Skins / Cover

For those that want a more durable cover you might consider using electrical shrink wrap. Now you won't get some nice designs but you'd get a durable cover with a good grip. I haven't done one but I would expect you'd need to fit it long and shrink it then cut when/where needed. A bit of...

    Vamo V3?

I'd say that someone is just calling the stainless steel version the "version 3". I don't see any differences other than the SS in these called "v3".
