Obviously, we folks in the USofA have no eyed deer what Greek Music, Dancing or Food is all about. Tritium said my video of a Greek Belly Dancer was not sufficiently Greek to comply with their standards.

Thanks again for the coffee Awsum and the PM, you are very generous. No rain here yet either, going to the grocery store with the Mrs. this AM and if it still is not raining, I will AGAIN pick up more leaves that fell last night. I hate FALL. Wabbit

vamo 510 stripped threads possible fix

Yea, I know what you mean. I just turned 69, but thankfully I am in great shape. I still have a nice shop with all kinds of tools etc, so I putter a lot out there. I have had the top for a couple of weeks, but did not want to screw up my Vamo. Finally the threads just became too much of an...

New Vamo V5 - Best of All Worlds ?

I don't think the Lambo 6.0 has the same chip as the Vamo V5 because pursuant to Pete Bs review the Lambo chip goes from 1 to 20 Watts in one watt increments. The Vamo V5 goes from 3.0 Watts to 15 Watts in 1/2 Watt increments. The Lambo V 6.0 goes from 3 Volts to 6 Volts in 1/10 Volt...

Finished the second round of leaf collection, and decided it was time to repair the old Vamo. Popped of the top with some difficulty, disconnected the wires, re-soldered them to the new top and had to secure it with a drop of super glue. The new top diameter was slightly smaller, therefore...

vamo 510 stripped threads possible fix

Hammerfly, I just repaired mine today. The top like you said is VERY hard to remove. I wrapped the Vamo main body with an old leather shammey and put it in my shop vice. Then put a pair of Vice Grips onto the top, held the lower portion with my left hand and just kept wiggling and wiggling...

    Thread problems

Success: My threads were becoming very very sloppy, so I went ahead and proceeded to replace the cap I purchased. 1. The top was VERY difficult to remove, but wrapping my Vamo in a leather shammey and placing it in a vice to hold it steady, I used vice grips on the top and kept wiggling and...

Thanks again for making coffee early Awsum. I'll skip the left over French toast. Chilly but not cold here on Delmarva. Leaves fell like rain last night, but nothing new, just keep raking and raking and bagging and bagging. Fall exercise before a lazy winter I guess. Wabbit

    Inconsistencies with the V3?

I was led to believe that the V3 Chip eliminated the old NO1 mode AVG? I think, however my Vamo V5 with supposedly the same chip has both modes. Check your menus to determine if you actually can change modes, this "might" be the problem. Just guessing. The Wabbit

You are just going to teach me a thing or two then. Every time I build a coil with 32 gauge and pulse it a little at 3.1 Volts, it burns out. I check it first for shorts and even when it says .09 Ohms and everything looks good, I begin to pulse and it turns bright red and pops. I have no eyed...

Just a note to you gals out there: If you ever anticipate getting into Rebuildable Atomizers (RBAs) be forewarned that it is a very finicky process, especially if you want to use them on your VV/VW devices. The wire used to make the coil for 2.0 Ohms and up is very, very fine and hard to work...

Awsum, I think you are correct. I have been attempting to wrap with just my spectacles and I can't see them worth a tinkers damn. I have two lighted magnifiers , one in my shed and one my Mrs. Wabbit's computer, so I am just going to take the one from my shed and put in on the kitchen table...

Ya just gotta love the new Russian sense of Humor since they dumped Communism. I got a chance to fool around with rebuilding RBA coils this afternoon. Quite frustrating trying to build 2 to 3 Ohm coils since the Kanthal wire required is very thin. The 28 gauge Kanthal is almost a...

Thanks for the digital coffee Awsum. I am just catching up. We went to watch a parade in which my oldest grandson was marching and playing his sax. Both of my grown daughters marched in Jr. High and High School parades and had lots of fun. My grandson did not like marching. Must be a lazy...

Thanks Awsum, I just went onto E-Bay and purchased 100 feet of 36 gauge Kanthal which comes out to about 2.75 Ohms per inch. That should build me a coil between 2.0 and 3.0 Ohms which is what I normally vape on my Vamo. I got 100 feet for $4.60 free shipping. That should last me a looooooog...

I immediately opened my I-Atty V3 RBA and checked out the enclosed coil (complete disaster). It checked out .9 Ohms on my Vamo, so no test there (The Vamo won't fire that low of a coil). I got out some 32 guage Kanthal and rebuilt the coil (my first). Used 5 wraps and still got a .9 Ohm coil ...
