What made you decide to take the plunge and give up smoking?

I smoked for 66 years, and wanted to quit for most of that time, I tried to quit many times, but just couldn't make it stick. Three weeks ago I was having a coughing fit, wheezing, and my chest was gurgling and knew I had to do something. I had been vaping for several months trying to cut...

    Hello from Asia!

I couldn't inhale the vapor while I was still smoking which didn't satisfy me, however when I quit smoking, I could inhale the vapor, and that satisfied my cravings to the point that now I rarely crave a cigarette. Keep trying, I smoked for 66 years and am now off the butts.

If you could only keep 2 mods in your current collection, which would you choose?

I have 3 Provaris, not giving up one, that way I can have 3 flavors, at 3 voltages (if necessary). haven't felt the need for anything else.

    Is it ok to vape?

I'm 78 so I'm not really concerned about the long term consequences of vaping, but I'm certain that vaping is healthier than smoking.

I tried doing both smoking & vaping, but couldn't inhale the vape, when I quit smoking I could inhale and enjoy vaping, which made quitting smoking pretty easy.

    Revelation

I started vaping a year or so ago with the idea of gradually quitting smoking. I found that I could not inhale the vapor, it felt like it was tearing my lungs out, I tried many juices and strengths, but just couldn't inhale, so I went back to smoking (& coughing, wheezing, & chest gurgling)...

New to vaping, too much throat hit.

I first tried vaping 3 weeks ago, KGO starter kit, and it went well, however I was just recovering from abdominal surgery, and it was not the best time to start, so I was vaping and smoking. Now that I am pretty well recovered, I find that the throat hit is just too much to take no matter what...
