The software is supposed to load when you plug in the evic. Not sure what my system is recognizing the evic as since I don't see anything when clicking the computer icon (I'm running windows 7) -

I have no issues with mine, except sometimes the software doesn't start up when I plug the evic into the usb port... No battery issues with my unit. -

Definitely having a vw device would be cool.. You can however, when replacing toppers, set the wattage manually to your favorite seting. Not the same as automatically adjusting, but it's not too inconvenient. Also if you set the volatge and it goes into sleep mode, it'll remain at that... -

Thanks, that explains a lot. It would be nice to just set watts and have it readjust volts depending on the atomizer so it's at the same preferred wattage -

Got mine today... Seems to work great and has a bunch of cool features. Not sure I understand the significance of changing watts. If I have a tank that vapes best at 3.6 volts, what will adjusting the wattage do besides readjusting volts to some higher, undesirable setting, resulting in... -

I think it'll be a good product...not concerned by some apparent glitches. I should be getting mine tomorrow...can't wait...seems like a pretty cool gadget. And with free upgrades to the firmware, I'm sure all issues will be resolved in a timely manner. Not sure why some folks are jumping ship... -
