with setting up the kayfun I think it may be more important to get the wicks set up correct than having a great coil. Too much wick, or too little will screw with the pressure and juice flow. Making sure the wick is positioned correct and not stuffed in too tight makes a huge difference. A...
I fill mine from the top like how Martinc suggests, then blow out the gurgle. Works a lot better than trying to fill with the juice fill hole. I only use the fill hole when topping off, which works great.
I do have a provari v2, but I don't think it'll work with really low ohms. Haven't gone lower than 1.2 or so with my coils. Would like to try lower gauge wire without needing 20 wraps...

Still waiting on the 3.1, but the mini is keeping me company while I wait. Still can't believe I sold the 3.1 I had...guess the money will be going towards an Ithaka...if I'm lucky...

I tried it on the mini - de-stranded a 3 mm wick by two strands and made the loops. Seems to work pretty good, but you're right it doesn't seem any better than a more standard setup so far
