A bit of Mini misfires
Maybe wrap a rubber band or two around the battery to secure it in place. I've got a woodvil where the spring is not perfectly aligned under the battery. So time to time the spring slips to the left and isn't making full contact with the battery. At that point I take a nonconductive dumaflechy... -

How much is a very high drop? i.e.: two 18650's that I checked in my woodvils had a drop of 0.20 and one at 0.18. Too much of a loss? -

AW 18490 issues
FWIW, I just change my batteries when I refill the bottle. Whether it's an 18490 or 18650, the batteries are always above 3.7v and I never have to worry if I am discharging the batteries too much. Even if it's three days or three hours to finish a bottle of juice, this method works for me. Hope... -
